    Salam,

I have 9th Gen Civic Prosmatic. I am new to automatic transmission. Kindly guide me guys about D-3, meaning what speed limit it can be used and what scenarios? Moreover, how to pick up when driving on motorway at about 120 and then reduce to 95 and again u need to pick up to overtake, what is the choice. I hope better guidance.

    Regards,

I had experienced the same thing and fault was due to an unsealed stopper from where the wire of tracker was coming into the cabin. The stopper was leaking water into the cabin and as a result floor matt was getting damp.

You dont need to shift gears to d3 or else at such speed. Just release the pedal and push it to full again.. Car will automatically shift down and provide acceleration.

Just use D and keep driving. D3, 2 and 1 are lower ratios to be used for hilly areas. A full pedal even in D is enough for the car to shift down itself for overtaking and stuff, that's why it's called an Automatic transmission

turn off the ECO mode for quicker shifting and quick engine throttle response.

I am also facing the very same problem. In addition to that whenever i try to put the gear from reverse to neutral, it gets stucked. With the clutch fully pressed, no matter how hard i try and quarrel with the gear lever, it just doesnt changes gear.

Coincidentally, my car is also 15 basic model and its 11k driven. I am facing this problem since the car clocked 10k.
