I see they are 17s. Did the dealer also have 15s or 16s? Any idea about price?

Both are 17s. Hyper Silver are normal and Hyper Black are Staggered.

Hyper Silver is 70k and Hyper Black is 75k.

Now, my query, Silver or Black on a White Civic? You can be a better judge as you have the same ride as mine

My priority was 17s, so didn't check any other size. I'll check with the dealer and let you know

Thanks mate. Yar I usually stay away from black rims since the demarcation between the rim and the tyre aint that great. However, this hyper black doesnt look purely black as per the picture. So, I say, go for black. Too many silver rims donning rides out there
When you visit the place next, can you please ask price of 15s as well?

Your statement represents the mood in my house. I'm for HS as I feel HB might not look 'that' great after a few thousand kms. But my brother insists that HS is too mainstream

15s? Sure, but that'd be on Monday as I'll be going then to get mine

17" is fine but the shoulder width is 9" which is too much for civic

    True
9 inch will look very awkward on rear. Maybe negative camber and lowering the car would make it look good but since this civic doesn't have rear camber adjustment, you ll need new camber arms (dunno what it's called exactly). 17x7.5 or maximum 17x8 would be fine. Anything wider will ruin the looks rather than improving it.

The one in pictures is a different set.

The staggered rims are front 7 and the rear 8.5. Now a few people are saying with 225/45-17, it will touch the body.

Normal ones are 8 inch, front and rear

If the offset is too much positive and the rim is really wide, you might have fender rubbing issues at the rear as there isn't much space at the back. But in any case, do not go below 45 profile. The ride quality would be very badly affected. Ideally, tyres should be 215/50/17 or 225/45/17. You can also go for 235/45/17 too.

    A few questions and confusions.

1-What tyre size and brand would be comfortable, noise-less and grippy all at the same time? I'm probably going to change the tyres after a couple of weeks from the delivery date. Also is it just me or does the width of the stock tyres from the back look too thin? Also I will be sticking to the OEM rims for the time being. I was thinking maybe Yokohoama Advan DB's, Michellin XM2 or Continentals? Any good shops in Pindi/Islamabad? A friend paid 23k and his stock eurostars for some Michellin tyres, don't exactly remember the model, so I think that's pretty reasonable.

2- The new navigation system has had some really bad reviews on PW especially about the lagging. Now to be specific does the system lag whilst playing video's and when the navigation is playing? Also I've read on PW that it takes about 40 seconds for the reverse cam to come up? That's way too long. Is it worth purchasing the new navigation system now?

3- I was thinking about Urban Titanium, the colour looks amazing to me, do you think it will be hard to maintain like the black cars?

4- What would the registration costs be in Islamabad for a fully loaded Oriel Prosmatec UG+nav+utility package+4 year extended warraanty? Registration costs are usually calculated by the invoice. Does the invoice price include the leather and nav etc accessories too or is invoice price just the base price of an oriel Prosmate which is 23,74000?

I would appreciate any other suggestions and comments.

    Guys
slight issue with my car.....dunno if it's an issue or normal behaviour cause its been months since I have travelled on motorway.
So i got my car's tyres changed to advan db 205/65/15. Now at speeds above 125, the car vibrates slightly. Its like if you lie against the back of the seat, its a slight massage type vibration. Felt on motorway while going to peshawar from isbd. No issue with balance as I did balance from honda and from a good place in pesh again. Its fine. The steering does not vibrate at all nor does anything else. If you look at the passenger seat back, it is vibrating constantly. Also if there is a shopping bag lying on the seat, it is vibrating constantly too. Dunno if its the road or the tyres. The tyres are fine too. As far as I remember correctly, it didn't do that on eurostars.

And its constant too. If it was an issue of balance, it would occur at a specific speed.but its constantly there upto speeds of 150 or so. Didn't go above that. Alignment is also fine as it was done by honda along wih balance. Car is driven 5900kms

I had faced similar issue with multiple cars. One time the rims were culprit. One time tyres. And one time the axle. One time brake disk.

I guess I should check the tyres in that case
I agree about axle and rims causing vibration too but I doubt those being a culprit in a 5900kms driven car
