Default Honda Civic 9th Gen Fan Club (2013)

    Salam,

As we just recently bought a Civic 9th Gen (2013) shape and could not find its fan Club on Pakwheels.

So making one, all who own this car or want to own one are allowed to share their views, problems, pics etc of their car.

All the owners of this Latest model should share pics of their car and their views.

The 198 will be a 198 and not 1 98, since 9 has a bigger digital volume as conpared to 1. Its the one that is a single line so has gap

All the pics I have seen of the 9th gen at 200+ all have the figures fairly close together. Anyways here is the pic. If he hit 198 he probably did push it further to 219.

It wont be a problem in terms of engine power and capability. I myself had done a 222 on my 8th gen (once upon a time when i was stupid and immature thinking its a super car and not civic). Thus i'm sure the 1.8L 9th gen engine must have that capability BUT as a car in terms of grip etc 9th gen can't do it (with stock suspension)
I still have both 8th and 9th gen and THE THING IS: 8th gen doesn't feel scary at high speeds but 9th gen is scary, its the grip and unstability of 9th gen while 8th gen feels more stable and robust. I still sometimes get stupid on 8th gen. I don't have stock tires either as i replaced them with 205/60-16s. And this unstability is the reason this car is much more prone to horrific and terrifying high speed accidents with a large ratio. Every now and then there is a 9th gen smashed terribly on highway (fatal accidents) and pictures are posted on pakwheels as compared to 8th gen accidents.

This picture looks a bit more authentic.... But notice the RPM in both 198pic and 219pic about the same (thus 219pic seems edited) Also the gap will only be there if speedo digit is 1. Rest all digits dont give a gap except for 1 😉

Totally agreed. I also have both 8th and 9th gen. No other generation of civic can beat high speed stability and road grip of 8th gen civic. 9th gen is no way near to the stability and handling of 8th gen civic.
Also 8th gen covic feels robust and reliable car. 9th gen feels lighter and steering is not that responsive.
The engine roar, hps and magnificent handling at high speeds and are plus points of 8th gen. It is a car made for those who love to drive.
Whereas 9th gen is more like a family car. I still love ti drive 8th gen more than 9th gen.

Same here, i still enjoy my 8th gen more and miss that pleasure while i'm driving my 9th gen. The steering is slower, less composed and doesn't respond with that sensitivity as the 8th gen. Simple reason is the introduction of "artificial intelligence" which Honda couldn't work out by giving the 9th gen an electronic power steering as compared to the natural physics of hydraulic one in 8th gen. This might have increased the fuel average but that pointiness of control has vanished in the process.

Also if you notice, a stand still 8th gen responds and the entire car visibly changes angle when you turn steering while the new one is just stagnant in comparison. This also shows lesser response of suspension to steering

I'm upgrading the socks and shoes of my Civic. 225/45-17 and Lenso PDE. Confused between these 3

Yokohama Neova, S-Drive or Decibel V551. Any suggestions?

Decibel V551. Have them installed on my Corolla. The best tires I've ever used.
Good mileage, very quiet and the ride is great!
