Default Honda Civic 9th Gen Fan Club (2013)

    Salam,

As we just recently bought a Civic 9th Gen (2013) shape and could not find its fan Club on Pakwheels.

So making one, all who own this car or want to own one are allowed to share their views, problems, pics etc of their car.

All the owners of this Latest model should share pics of their car and their views.

they have mention in warranty book that the claim will be given if the car is maintained on XYZ oil grade but i want to know what if i put XYZ grade of honda oil or shelll or any other good oil?will this gona effect on my warranty and also on car
And the answer is still the same. You need to get it done from Honda. Even if you buy things from outside you have to take them to a 3S for getting the job done. That is the only way you will be getting the warranty book stamped. At the time of claim they check for every 5000km stamps on your book.
And in sequence to the answer and a must condition of getting it changed from 3S, why would you buy the same genuine honda filters from outside at the same rate as of 3S provided you have to go to the 3S to get it changed in any case for making your warranty valid by getting stamps on your warranty book. Getting your oil changed from any outside source voids warranty. And if you take a non recommended grade engine oil to the 3S and tell them to put it in, in the first place they won't do it. Even if they do they wont give you a stamp on the warranty book periodic check page.
Therefore in a nutshell: no matter where you buy the stuff from, you have to get it changed from Honda. Else warranty is void. And Honda does not serve changing un approved or off specification oils

Guys, I was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade an old 9th gen civic navigation system to a new one?

I made an inquiry to Honda about getting the Navigation system once my car was about an year old. And they said, (quoted) "since we don't take back an old system or adjust a used system therefore the new unit has to be purchased as a separate part from us which will cost 82 thousand as we sell it for 61 in a brand new car after deduction of standard Cd player unit which costs Honda 21 thousand (61+21=82)"
However if you sell your existing system in the open market you may fetch something like 30 to 35 thousand at max now provided it was around 50 thousand when it was new and also good chinese systems with warranty like AVT and Rockmars are available in market for around a range of 20 thousand. Those aftermarket systems do work with steering controls and have acceptable sound quality+resolution. So keeping that in mind you may get upto 35 (but will have to be sold separately maybe on Pakwheels or other internet sites) since an audio dealer will keep his margin and won't offer you anymore than 25

Moisture will become a problem during fixation and afterwards avoid water for atleast next 24 hours.
    2. The matts available outside in the market are better than Honda far more superior, better in thickness and life as well.
    3. The trunk tray is equally good.

From where did you get them installed in Lahore?

There is a guy named Ijaz, his number is 0306 6642085
Sits on Walton Road in the market next to Shahnawaz/Mercedes. Though I initially got them and fitted from Montgomery, Ijaz later fitted them again properly with new 3M adhesive after cleaning and heating the surfaces properly

Thanks bro, so then I think it's too expensive to upgrade to a new navigation system, I'm gonna stick to the one I have, what about you?

Still it's faaaaaar better than giving a car more than 2 million without a basic immobiliser, dual airbags and tooti walay dimmer style ac controls instead of climate control or even buttons in the hardtop civic.
    Let's not go there.

Oh wow, big difference of time between 10.123 seconds and 11.018 seconds. That means one will reach Islamabad in 3hrs-43mins and the slower one will take 3hrs-51mins. Come on kids take break we're not discussing McLaren and Ferrari. Grow up please out of these stupid drag races between stock Corolla and Civic. And if growing up is not an option, please set a time between yourselves and sort out your differences on the tarmac instead of putting verbal claims and playing trumps while typing on forums.
Oh and please note this is not a "Corolla VS Civic" thread.

Salam brothers. I am currently in ksa. And the civic here is of this shape. I am planning to send the bumper and lights of a saudi civic back to pak. Will it fit my 9th gen easily?
    Is this a good idea?

The boot/trunk/diggi is to be changed as well for rear. Same front headlights but grills also needed. Don't forget to send both bumper brackets along

Or you could avoid the front bumper by only changing just the front grill that comes for facelift Malaysian/Thailand Civic, like so

Personally i love this updated rear end. So if it was me, yes it'll be worth it and extremely rare in Pakistan. Probably one of it's kind. But do keep the original trunk and bumpers so you can replace it at time car of re sale. You know the typical stupid mentality of our desi buyers "zaroor thukki ho gee gaari jo yeh iss tarah ki diggi ka bahana banaya hai, bhai jenyin cheezain kahan hain gaari ki?"
99% of buyers don't like modifications in Pakistan.
