the original PKDM rear lights are the big turn off for new civic. . so update the rear lights with the onez you should or get after market AUDI style lights which completely upgrade the looks of the car. . and rest you easily get after market front grill

    hi there,

What are the best tyres for the 9th gen civic?

currently i have yokohama advan DB v550 205/65 R15 (manufactured in 2011) on my civic (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/civic/218360-my-fathers-2013-honda-civic-vti-oriel-prosmatec-navigation) and i want to get them replaced.

I spoke to the mechanics at honda for advice and they said that the tyres should be manufactured in 2014/5 and should not be rotational - where should I get these tyres from Lahore?

Go for Continental CC5. I'm using them on my 8th gen and 9th gen civic and they're pretty good both comfort and handling wise.

Salam brothers. I am currently in ksa. And the civic here is of this shape. I am planning to send the bumper and lights of a saudi civic back to pak. Will it fit my 9th gen easily?
    Is this a good idea?

Bro you cannot do it for rear lights and trunk as the tail lights of civic in pakistan has anchor longer (mean goes more towards door side). Actually i was planning same as i am in UAE and want to change mine car back lights. I measured and found difference. It will not work as you will have to cut body to fix these lights.

For front yes... You can buy bumper and grille and can fit easily. But better to buy front grille (2 designs available here in local market) and change the look.

If you do this and bring from Saudi you will have another problem as well, for example God forbid one of your light of bumper breaks you will have to bring replacement from gulf as local parts will not fit.

All i will say is: how many Altis 1.8 do you see recently on the roads and how many Civics? That will give you the answer
Not to mention Altis 1.8 delivery time has dramatically reduced

215 can be forcefully installed on stock alloys but it's not recommended. Ideal rim width for 215 is 7.5"
Also if you get 215/65-15 that will raise your car too much burden your suspension and look ugly with that profile, if you get 215/60-15 that will suit overall diameter being close to stock but rim needs to be wider for ideal physics (narrower rim will make it too flexible)
205/65-15 is suitable and just right if you want to change or go for 205/60-16 (increase rim)
If however you want no less than 215 your ideal option would be 7" wide rim OR increase rim dia size to 17" for 215/50-17
