    wish i was there, could have given a test run with my 20v
    in my car i can see fitting the radiator required brains. a very thin radiator was used (Corolla 82), and slightly tilted so it does not touch the headers. u must be using some other radiotor as well?

    Radiator fitting is tight but pretty much on the orignal position.
    engine currently is complete stock yet to come are the headers and stuff.

    breaking and suspension are still the issues.

    hash...why would u have to touch the firewall with this install? the block sits atleast 10-12" away from it. more closer would be the intake manifold but im sure that will also clear....

    yeah..but i guess you missed my point. the B16 is still going into a civic....the pics in your link are not that of a civc...arent they? looks like a charade or similar...

    B16 or most B and D series honda motors are a straight swaps into most civics...exceptions are the wiring harness (gong from non vtec to vtec), tranny and axles etc.

    having said that...B series swaps into this generation civics are rare...atleast i dont know any members of my civic club who own the EF civic with a B16 (thre a dozen atleast)

    this looks like a good project...lets see how it goes.

    i guess i should also mention that there are two types of B16 motors..the B16A with cable transmission and the B16A2 with hydraulic transmission. The first generation B16 is a straight swap job into...

    88-91 Civic
    90-93 Itegra

    The B16A will not work on 92-Up civics unless you can find a compatible grey plug, ECU, distributor, and hydraulic to cable adapter for the transmission.

    The best swaps for the B16A2 with hydraulic transmission are:

    92-Up Civic
    94-Up Integra

    The B16A2 is a direct swap into these cars unless it is OBDII; in this case you would need an adapter.

    salman...did u get new mounts for your swap? u need new mounts cuz the existing ones wont bear the load the new motor for long....

    @sZubari
    thanks for the info, but ur incorrect in some ways,
    my b16a is obd1, hows that, running P30 ECu, the engine is cable tranny, but even if it was hydrolic, it isnt a problem for me, coz i ahve to make a cutom clutch cable for this tranny too,

    Its not a charade its a EF3 Civic 86 hatch, the engine is not bolt on all the mounts are custom, with custom Excels,

    the car is in running condition now, dont have any thing left except for the suspention work, which i will do later in this week,

    Thanks,

    hey salman....i do know that the B16A is an OBD1 and not 2. Did i say its not? i was refering to your existing wiring before the swap....i take from ur post that your swap came with the wiring...as i guess it was OBD0 before the job.

    anyway....seems like a good project. two thumbs up for all ur effort.

    so what are ur plans for the suspension?

    the other thing u might wanna look into is the condition of your brakes...with more power...your existing setup will stress more....so upgraded pads and rotors will help alot.

    nice info thanx. in the link i sent the blue charade got a H22, fire wall was cut for that fit.

    @salmang
    i had a run with a b16a turbo/7psi
    the driver gave me a lead of 1 to 1.5 to start the run with as the Honda was turbo and my 20 was N/A
    The Honda i guess had some problems with the clutch or something, could not overtake me :| otherwise makes no sense :|
