Default HONDA CIVIC 97 VTI some queries

    dear all
    greetings

i recently have shifted to honda and so far i am loving my honda civic 97 vti .. but have got a few questions which i hope, the experts at this forum would reply kindly.

    1. when the RPM is a bit low, the power steering kinda gets harder, is it normal or do i need to something about it ??

    2. i havent got the CNG tuning done yet. the problem is that on CNG, my car kinda shakes when i put it in the 2nd gear and also it seems as if someone is choking the car and atonce releasing it. plz guide me in this matter too.

    3. which engine oil should i use with it? the engine is in very good condition. Someone suggested me to go for Zic Hi- Flo. Do you guys recommend it? i would appreciate some honda owner to tell me this plz..

    4. what are the exact tyres that i should use with it? ysterday while driving on motorway, i noticed that as i crossed 110, the car was a bit shaky or kinda jerking a bit. should i get the while alignment and balancing done?

i hope you guys would reply my these queries.

    regards

    1) Yes i think that at less rpm car tends to get heavy that is normal
    2) Proper tuning of cng with plugs and wires check would resolve the problem
    3) you should go for Zic A+ it is very good engine oil provides long life to engine
    4) 185/50/R14 is the tyre size and get its wheel alignment which will resolve jerk issue

your car should idle at 700 - 750 (or 800) RPM... with the AC on it can go up to 1000 depending on the setting... any lower and you will notice the affect on power steering. if its not an RPM issue, the steering pump is probably not getting adequate power... or it could just be a bad pump (but those usually make weird sounds on a full turn).

    ok guys, another query..

while being at lahore and multan for some 4 days, i noticed that with the AC on, on CNG, the pick was like very low and i dont face this problem here at abbottabad.what i reckon is probably the gas quality and all.. cz here in our region, the CNG quality is really good .. what do u guys think ?

i didnt face any issues on petrol though ..
the car is giving me excellent mileage on gas and petrol.. 100% satisfied ...

its a screw stud, its capnut only tightened very gently about a max of 6 or 7 lb/ft . To create this effort use a 6 inch small ratchet and pull it with your pinky finger its the weakest and will apply about the right torque.

ok guys .. i have a small query... it might help others too..

is it normal for a car that when u turn the ac on, the car (in my case 1600 cc honda civic) would feel bit underpowered ????

2nd question is, does the throttle cleaning or servicing really help improve the mileage too ?? and the overall performance of the car engine ??? i mean in simple words, what they call as "pick of the car"????

waiting to hear from you guys ...

    thanks

OK guys there were some issues that I was facing recently. The car was doing missing on gas and also some PATAKHA issues. On AC, the car was almost dead and also didn't have stable rpm. Since two days I was having prolonged start up time . For all these, I got the throttle cleaned . Plugged cleaned and found out that in one of the plug compartments there was oil dripping in, so I got the seal changed. The petrol pump was found to be almost dead. Changed that too. Also I removed the blocking of the air intake as already the VENCHURI was installed. The car is working awesome now. No start up issues. All the other issues are resolved too .

And in the end, car all washed up

Okay guys I got another problem. After I got the throttle serviced and the fuel pump changed. I am facing pick issues. The car isn't getting adequate pick. Should I get it checked from the computerized car tune up? Would it work ? Plz suggest
