    Default plss i need urgent help about my 05 civic RPM issue

    salam..all dear pws im facing RPM issue in my civic 05 model...CNG kit
    plus CNG cylnder complete serviced also throttle body..but still my car RPM 1500 on
    petrol n 900 on CNG .... if mec changed settings on petrol 900 RPM then on CNG
    car giving me 400 or 500 RMP without AC..on CNG wen i stopped car on any speed breaker or signal car goes switched off ... pls i need urgent help from all .. thanks

      I will never advise you to replace throttle body at once without any confirmation that the problem is only because of throttle body,before doing this make sure that there is no vacuum leakages around the throttle body and intake manifold,vacuum lines are properly connected to specified locations,tappets are properly adjusted,ignition cables are in good condition,inlet manifold should be neat & clean,there should be no blockage in air intake,crank & cam sensor should be neat & clean.

      i had a similar pblm with my civic n it only ended whn i changed the throttle body
      i can refer u to a very good mechanic on murree road. his name is ashraf.... u can call him n make a reservation because he always has too much of workload... 03005346211...03225083946
      i hope it solves ur pblm... buy a kabli one i think it costed me 2800/ almost two yrs back... just go meet him n he ll arrange one fr u himself n u dont even need to waste ur time searching fr one... tc

      please clarify ...

      -- if u set petrol rpm at 900 then ur car doean't give u any problem may it be early morning start where auto choke kicks in and advances rpm for a while till engine gets adequately warm


      if above is true it is your cng kit issue .. there are internal settings of springs in cng kit plus the one who tunes it has to ensure that it has no air leaks .. either of the two issues

      if the problem of cold starting is with petrol as well then it is your auto-choke sensor or the motor which synchronizes with it to advance acceleration ....

      but i'm quite confident the main issue is the cng kit ... there is an idle advancer in cng kit .. how come it is not working .. it gives some gain in rpm .. if u experiment with air-chocking while car is on cng even that increases some rpm ... so i don't understand what is the exact nature of ur problem

      u can check the function of auto choke by turning on ac .. if it inc rpm with ac ur auto-choke is perfectly fine

      then there is a reset option also .. have u tried that ... remove battery leads for about 30 sec .. and put them back

      yes naveed bhai when i turn on the ac rmp inc...n last time wen i visited to a mechanic he said ur advancer n amulater r so
      old so need to change they r old desgined n comes in early 2006 or 2007 so swap them with latest one which
      comes now in green color box...is he true?

      he may be true as a faulty advancer will not let the ecu to control the idle rpm on CNG...
      swap it with any other advancer just to verify. if it works, then buy a new one for it......

      100 percnt same problem as I have once :/
      Meri toh cng kit ma ek choti si cheez thi,, bilkul pistol ki bullet ki head ki tarah golden colour ki!!! Wo kit khol k change kr di thi!! Sare 500 rupey lagey they n my car was perfect again!!! Bt I spend 3 weeks on visiting each n every mechanic in town ((

      Please visit the CNG mechanic Mr. Qaiser on the CNG station opposite side of Laurel Bank School G.T. Road near Mandi stop Baghbanpura Lahore. He is certified mechanic and will solve your issue.
