It's better to go for manual instead of prosmatic, i have both.

VTI Oriel Prosmatic 2005 gives me 80 to 90 kms in city in 55 cyl and hardly 110 kms on highway (with AC)
EXI Manual 2005 gives me 120 to 130 in city in 55 cyl and 160+ on highway (with AC)

On petrol it gives 9-10km/l with AC in city and around 12km/l on highway ... In one full Cylinder it gives around 80-90kms in city and around 120-130 on highway ...

VTi Prosmatec is gas guzzler and thirsty.

However where Exi Prosmatec stops accelerating after 190 km/ hr the Vti Prosmatec will go all the way to 240km / hr speedometer and above 6000 RPM. It is still the 2nd most powerful locally manufactured car ever produced.

Auto engine works fine on CNG I have run 2002 Vti Prosmatec till 160,000 KM and sold it afterwards in good condition do not know how far it can go.

Nowadays a complete change of prosmatec gearbox from Honda Drive In will not cost more than 10K labour with your parts worth 20K from wholesale market.

Vti is noticeably faster. My EXI 2005 Prosmatic gives about 8.5-9kmpl with AC in city driving. i still have to check the mileage on highway. I don't really drive it on CNG since i don't wan't to run into transmission related problems.

its ironic that you are choosing between VTi and EXi on the basis of mileage. there is something called class...

Although this sounds a bit extreme but when i was searching for a 7th gen, i didnt even considered an EXi. How much can you afford to loose even after buying a 7th gen? VTEC, ABS, 16 inch tires with factory alloys, retractable side mirrors, height adjustment for driver seat, etc.

these cars are not meant to be very efficient, my suggestion would be to keep this as a family car and buy a small one for daily running.

9-10 w/o ac in city 7-8 with ac in city
11 w/o ac long 9-10 with ac long
once driving my vti 2006 from islamabad to lahore on M2 i achieved 13kmpl w/o ac but on constant speed of 100km/h after crossing 120km/h its average sucks so drive it at 80-100km/h. donot have cng in my vti but friends say that w/o ac it gives 100km and with ac gives 80-85km.
