Default Clutch issue of civic 2005

    Assalam O Alaikum..
My car is making some grinding sort of noise when its cold and if clutch is pressed the noise becomes minimal. Clutch is hard to press and the pick of the car is also not up to the mark. Honda guys said that the clutch and pressure plate need to be changed. Should i change the above mentioned parts? if yes then what is the price of genuine clutch and pressure plate of civic 2005 manual.?

around 9500 for clutch, plate and bearings. I changed them 3 months ago for the same grinding noise with clutch out, but it didn't solve the problem!

actually its the throw-out bearing problem which is most common in civics, mine has same issue, my friend got it too.
changing them solves the problem but its a hectic job so people usually change plates too on same labor.

Rest our pro Mr @Xulfiqar can give in some opinion

Genuine FCC clutch plate pressure plate set will cost you 15,000 Japan and 12,000 Thailand Add 1,500 for genuine NTN and NSK Thrust bearing. Change 2 Litre ZIC FF gear oil for roughly Rs 450/L.

EXEDY clutch, pressure will cost 10,500 for Japan and 9,500 for Thailand Add thrust bearing.

AISIN clutch plate is not very good for Honda will cost 7,500.

Put in Honda OEM clutch and pressure plate with new thrust bearing. Add GL-4 gear oil and you're ready to go. If dealership is expensive buy parts from them and get it installed from a good mechanic but if you get the work done by dealership there is no need to worry for at least 50k kms.
