If you find the ride of 09 Gli awesome on motorway, then Reborn is 3x ahead of Corolla when it comes to handling and stability at high speeds.

Reborn has best road grip in 1.8 category much better than city.

Just off topic but in 1.3 category Baleno has very good road grip at high speeds.

buy a used BMW 3 or MB C sedan if you travel a lot on motorways and need grip - those cars are meant to be driven on autobahns.

civic is 3x times better than city road grip wise and many times better than a corolla. I agree city swings on motorway even a speedy LC passes you.

i travel a lot on m2. and i mean A LOTTT!!! i have a tiny honda city BUT with proper (not over) sized tire. never had any issues with 'wind'. i mean seriously, only a mehran, alto etc scare me on 120 on m2, even a cultus is just fine. i ve driven my city upto 175kmph without much issue. and i ve driven a new cityupto 190, no issue. the only point being that tires were of proper size, proper quality and properly inflated.

but anyways, civic is atleast twice as stable on motorways. i ve driven constantly at 170 in a 2001 civic without any 'panic' feel. so go get it! and a request to all, please dont even MENTION corolla in this thread!

I have pegged the needle on a *E80 corolla with 4AGE blacktop, very stable, I have also pegged the speedo on a cow with 2ZZ-GE. Very stable.

the cow had SACHS struts, harder springs and massive brakes.

the guy is probably talking about the cross wind area.

all cars that occupy a volume should vibrate or in some cases skid a little in that area. the wind speed is quite high there. cars with more surface area on the sides will shake more...honda civic is no exception...

You will decide for a car on the basis of swinging on motorway. Shabash....

Absolutely right... I've also driven my civic 2001 prosmatec around 160-170 many times... and no tension of road grip at all

thats where the civic sucks... its gonna do about 100 in city and 120 or so on long routes... on a 60l cylinder, not 55l...
