Here is the thing Dear economy group fellows, lets talk practical.

I have a 2008 Corolla. Its CNGed since day 1. I recently tuned it up and got ALL the necessary manufacturer mentioned maintenance done. Its usually driven on GT road, about 150kms daily.

Its been giving me around 180-200kms with AC in a single CNG fill worth Rs 600. For 4 days a week, I have CNG and one day its driven on petrol cz of loadshedding, though I keep a light foot and I usually burn petrol for less than 40kms.

    Here is the cost:

    Total weekly run: 750kms.

Total fuel consumed: around 2500Rs ki CNG and hardly 250 ka petrol = 2750 Rs.

Cost per km: 3.6 Rs (Yes I LOVE <3 my car)

Now if with your system, what I have been seeing from several threads of yours, I'll possibly decrease this cost further to 3 Rs per km.

Provided what your hybrid system costs, does it seem really worth it to go thru all this hassle to save a mere 0.6 Rs/km? In how much time will be the actual cost be relieved? My heavily driven workhorse does 30000kms a year.

Looking at the future of CNG in Pakistan, I don't think your system is of much use unless it has some other advantages which you haven't posted yet.

    Any comments?

I read the 3 threads of yours which had close to no such information at all!

There were some fights, some poor evidence, some aagha waqar etc etc.

Please be kind enough to explain briefly.

Well said...i dont know why people who are not interested are just waisting their and others tym by sending useless remarks, if anybody is serious he must go to workshop or make a call for clarification..rather then trying to prove that claim of thread starter is wrong...

It costs money to call and more to visit while posting is free. Obviously, if people are on the lookout for saving, how can one expect them to spend ten rupees even?

    ^^ This Makes Some Sense....!

You Actually Make System Which LEANs Down......How You Monitor AFR For Not Leaning Down To The Level Where potential Engine Damage Is Expected.......!

It Works on Gasoline As You Fiddle Up With Map Sensor .....How You Make It work On CNG????

One More Thing Not All Cars Are Same And react To It....Some Cars Just Overwrite MAP As They See Difference In Other Sensors And MAP Sensor Readouts......

If you are just leaning out the MAP sensor output it does not show prove a good tune, the map sensor reads absolute manifold pressure (thats why is called Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor

If the MAP output reads low it means the vacuum is high in the manifold, meaning that the throttle blade is very little opened up, its goes high when their is less vacuum or nearto atmospheric pressure.

If your system fools it into high vacuum reading but working throttle reading and constant EGO reading, the output would not be what you require because the ignition timing and injector duty cycle can go goofy trying to sort it out. Infact if you put this on a 4AGE 20V black ECU, the ECU might throw it out and limit engine power due to serious malfunction.

The only correct way would be to remake the ECU

This may work with the really dumb ODB-0 and 1 ECUs - but nothing further
