Default 2005 Civic Vti sound/missing issues

asalam. i have a 2005 civic vti. its automatic and driven sumting above 80.000KM.
its engine seems good. no smoke, no oil reduction and pulls very good.

there r a few issues im having with it. its whole airfilter box was broken due to which it was idling rough and would shut off at low rpm. i replaced the whole box with new one and also the tuners told me to replace the spark plugs which were causing the missing cuz they were in bad condition. with new airbox & plugs the condition has improved but not totally.

-though not as much, the car still does missing and the engine jerks meaning its about to die, then i hear an air purging sound and engine shuts off. this happens when its at operating temp and is moving very slowly in traffic or wen im parking sumwhere, thats wen its RPM is low. what can be done to remedy this missing/purging sound/shutting off??

-another problem is the noise. the car sounds like an old toyota hilux...almost like a diesel engine. very loud. i chked the xahust by a mechanic and aftr quick check he said its all good, but to me it doesnt look like it should sound this way. 1 thing i found is that the rear final muffler attached is not honda original, instead its an old rusty small muffler from sum other car. could that be the problem? how about something wrong elsewhere in the exhaust piping?

i have got the car recentli
    thanks manana

Regarding 1st issue. Did you get its throttle body cleaned and get it's rpm set from diagnostic machine?
2nd issue might be due to silencer. Get original silencer and you will feel difference.

Check the Throttle body and coils.
And for second issue check the whole exhaust system and the fuel pump as well.

If you feel like driving a diesel engine car and If sound is coming from engine bay then its surely bent valves.
The best car safety device is a rear-view mirror with a cop in it.

you dont set rpm on cng in this car like this... i mean by the throttle stop screw

the knocking type sound could be the crank bushings worn out

Cng brings out valve noise early.

For idle issues check your cng wiring thoroughly.
