I seriously need this car now lol.
Has anyone taken a trip to a village? How does it fare on bumpy roads?
what about 4-5 passengers? How low does it go?

A survey which can be counter checked from google states that just by the introduction of instant fuel consumption indication ( those bars ) fuel average improves by 33% because of the change in driver's habit ..it is natural and this colour guides improves it further

Indeed this car gives excellent mileage.. I recently travelled via motorway at speeds of 140-170.. And was surprised to see my avg not going below 11.5 at any point.. It was mostly 12 on avg..n If u compare this with 8th gen, you probably would need to refuel mid way at these speeds.

it will be okay on bumpy roads, you don't have to worry about the suspension getting ruining or the underneath of the car hitting every rough area and the lower protective sheets falling off .. however the interior will develop annoys rattles as it has a lot of plastics which do not have sound deadening foam between them.. if you read post #281 on this thread, you will get an idea of what i'm saying.

the manual variant will need frequent gear changing in the city and the prosmatec version is good, but boring. so keep the swift.

chalo by then you will also have the option of a new corolla as well. which will do well on such roads as the indus people will design it so that it can be driven on small rugged roads

Yeah- I was considering that as well, then I just gave up. Say I do get an Altis top of the line model and pay 3-6Lacs more for it, it would still look like Base Model Hence Civic.

That's for sure.... The 8th gen Civic (I don't like it to call it reborn) was a gas guzzler, whereas the 9th gen Civic is the opposite of it!

Inshallah! I learned how to drive on rented Santro, then I was about to buy Santro as well, then Mom wanted Vitz, then I wanted City, then she wanted hatchback, then I wanted Swift. So yeah, Swift made it lol

I am quite bored of it now- First I was drooling every time I saw one near me hehe.
I am just waiting for it to get a year old, then will dispose of it!

Good decision. Hopelly by then Honda would've introduced the long awaited android based navigation system. Seems like they've forgot all about it for now

^What is exactly so special about the new Android system? I hope they do Not cost-cut and use crap processors and other stuff from cheap companies. I.e Qmobile standard. I would love if it was Samsung or HTC standard

In a car which offers substandard tyres (ie eurostars) compelling all new buyers to fork out thousands of rupees to replace them as soon as they drive the car out of the showroom, do you expect to see a high end android system used in good brands in the upcoming navigation system (if it ever comes) ? It's going the cheapest android system with lag worse than a 1995 2mb RAM desktop computer.
The current one is a windows CE based unit, if I'm not mistaken. It's just too bland and an android system on which you could download apps of all sorts would be nice.

Buddy its not company's choice to provide eurostar rather its the goverments policy( thanks to ahmad mukhtar because he owns general tyres) that local made tyres are to be installed in new cars. Back in 2002 almost all cars had imported tyres but then this policy was introduced. Only swift has imported tyres because general dosent make tyres of that profile. The day they start making them suzuki will be forced to install them.
