Yup Bro I 100 percent agree with you but come back to year 2007 I bought civic 8th gen it has Bridgestone tyres made in Thailand . U know why that time euro star was not introduced only general tyre was available. .. soon after in year 2008 euro start manufacture they stopped Bridgestone in civic.....also same case with my steermatic comes with Bridgestone potenza where as idsi coming with generals. Nowadays still u can see swift coming with Bridgestone n yokohama tyres..because eurostar does not have that particular size I.e 186/60/15

Yes thats exactly what I'm saying swift has an odd tyre size (I mean only swift has that size here) thats why general tyres isnt making that size. Same was the case with civic back in 2007 with the launch of 8th gen, civic had moved to 195 while toyota was still on 185 hence honda was allowed to have importrd tyres till general started manufacturing eurostar.
btw is there a difference between tyre size of steermatic and idsi?

I am kinda bored of Swift and I would love a Civic. Mom has given me permission, but in September- October-ish.
CIVIC will go smoothly on this road. As my cousin has Civic and he is from Rajanah. There is no such issue.

just got back from a trip to the mountains. the car gave an average of 13.3 km/l (lahore-islamabad-bhurban-islamabad-lahore)

the upgraded navigation (free upgrade for all cars bought after june 2013) has much improved maps . there were certain roads not included in the navigation which now are. plus it turns black at night (i don't think i noticed that before).

it's still going strong and comfortable.
the air conditioning is working flawlessly and if you angle the front vents towards the rear passengers, they start feeling cold after 15 minutes (without freezing the front passengers to death ).

we drove around in a 2013 E-250 CDI estate in UK a few weeks ago (https://www.pakwheels.com/forums/spo...6-spotted-uk-2.. posts 35-42) ... to be very honest, i didnt find much of a difference comfort or spec wise . yes, the estate had more rear legroom and more acceleration (which was clearly useless on 70mph speed limit motorways and 30-40 mph city driving)

but if you look at both cars very broadly, they have similar specs and quite similar in comfort as well.

for once, this civic is a PKDM which doesn't make you want to buy a bigger car- it's quite sufficient and has specs which meet the international markets cars specs.

Those who want to spend their last pennies on an old merc (2007+) should rather get a brand new civic, fully loaded.

Exactly! What our people don't understand is that a car is NOT a one time investment. You have to spend on it.. I've seen many people saying that a Used UK import C Class is much better the a New civic. Maintenance cost vary a lot.. @omar_575 even posted an example, if I remember correctly.

Yes, it's post number 321 on this thread

And this car is actually not bad. I've had it for almost a year. driven it on mountains, in the city, everywhere.. But without any problems.

Chalo, baki Mercedes walay khush rahein. I wish they would post a detailed thread about the maintenance costs of their German cars.

No bro, that's not normal. It could be possible that a protective sheet underneath the car has become loose.

Take it to the Honda dealership and let the mechanic have a test drive. If your car is under warranty, they will fix it for free.
