Default Shocking Dilemma - Honda Civic 2005 & City 2002

After getting rid with all the silly problems with my City i finally passed it on to my wife and got myself a nice 05 Civic. My wife a few weeks ago complained to me about some wierd noises from the front end. I took the city out for a spin and could not hear any noises so i took it to work the next day. It remained quite for most of the time but i heard a "Ghooon Ghoon" noise after driving about 15km. After a while a clicking noise also emerged (which is particularly annoying as it would only stop if the road is absolutely 10/10). On my way back, same thing happened , it remained quite for 10-15 km and then the same noise re emerged. Weird thing, after rains similar noise with exact symptoms have emerged in my Civic .

I need know if these noises are bad shocks/struts or springs? If shocks, what should i do about them? Replace ? Repair? If repair, Should i go to Saeed Manzil ( @Xulfiqar ) ? . If this is shocks related than why does it emerge after driving for atleast 10-15 km and not right away?

I have little experience with shocks related problems.

go back to saeed manzil abdul hameed & sons shop the guy name is afzal, tell him about the problem, if the suspension was worked upon why the rack was ignored if it need fixing job too.try not to assume everything on your own. if the noise is on end to end hard turning you may be correct for the rack ends but keep fingers crossed till you see afzal at his shop

Afzal is being consulted on regular basis. I got the rackends replaced last week. Will visit coming Saturday, I am hoping its not the rack itself.

No. Not the entire rack. Just the rack mounts.

They open them up and fill it with oil and re seal it. The guy is highly recommended. Its been almost 2 years since i had them done and they are still fine. I am however going to get them checked again in a couple of months

Rack usually does not make noise as you described. If your tie rod ends are ok then it must be faulty shock absorber which is making the noise. I think you should have not repair the shocks rather it was better to replace it with kabli ones. I think the repaired shocks are making noise and as you said the car pops up so it most likely the shock problem.
