if the steering doesn't rotate to let the key lock open then you can try to get your car jacked from front and then move the steering and unlock the car! maybe that can work

Ignition lock farigh ho gya hay, common issues in heavy used hondas. Get it repaired from a local kharadia or chaabi maker, mechanic will open the steering altogether now, nothing worng wd steering lock, just the ignition lock has lived its life.

Brother are you using other than Honda key ?

It does not happen even hondas with 300,000 km plus mileage only seen this happening in cultus.
All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better.

Experience with 4 different Hondas, you're welcome to visit any time you want.

1- Civic 2005 EXi Prosmatec - Key died at 75k km.
2- City 2004 iDSi MT - Key died twice, at 125k km and at 170k km.
3- Civic VTi Oriel MT 2006 - Key stopped working at 89k km mileage
4- Civic VTi Prosmatec 2007 - Key died at 66k km mileage.

All replaced with OEM Honda stuff except for iDSi City. Don't know which PKDM Hondas have you been driving for 300k km with the original keys, lol.

Still Mr OP, I can safely suggest your car's key/ignition lock has lived its life, get them repaired or get new ones which will be a PIA.

This is an old post but a common problem nowdays with all types of new cars slightly used.

I got my Honda city steering lock fixed from a guy under-mentioned.

    Expert's Contact Information
    ========================
    Name : Mr. Umar
    Mobile : 03224555889
    Locations :
    1. Near PSO Patrol Pump, Beverly centre, Blue Area (in front of Kulsum Int'l Hospital), Islamabad
    2. Near Fire Brigade Office, Islamabad

Usual Rates : Rs. 800 onwards for key. (depending upon metal quality)
Rs. 50 per lock lever. there were 10 lock levers in my case (Honda City 2006, Steering car lock).

I am satisfied with his work, therefore mentioning this guy's name.

He also works for Car Security Systems, Locks, Senser Keys, Power windows, Immobilizer keys. etc.

    Best Regards,
    Khalid Mehmood Awan

Get the key wet with (WD 40) lubricant a little bit and insert into ignition switch 3-4 times you will see oil will get black. Clean with cloth and repeat this 2-3 time, don't spray into the ignition switch. Only lubricate key and insert and clean key
I have done myself in my Vti two times.and it works Fine ✔️
Normally it happens after 2-3 years of time.
