Civic 9th Gen: Unknown squeaking from driver's side.
AoA, pakwheelers. My Civic has just done 2300 kms and I'm experiencing an issue with it because whenever I drive it on uneven road a faint squeaking sound is produced from the the front on driver's side. Now I have done everything to locate where it is coming from by rocking the body to reproduce the sound but I can only hear it when driving on uneven roads and that squeaking does not happen while going over a speed breaker.. Any help would be appreciated because it's a brand new car and squeaking sound pisses the hell out of me!! There has been no changes or modifications whatsoever, stock tyres, company rims.
its from dashboard ask as I have the same problem it squeeks only when u go on rough road but in my car it comes from front side not drivers side. and it stops for a while by punching the dashboard its just a loose clip. Honda supervisor said they will put some foam in dashboard and that will does it go to Honda dealers and ask them to fix ur dashboard. worry not enjoy ur car just get it done when u go to Karachi
Bro please check ur car front right side brake calipers and associated holding/locking pins. I ve experienced same problem in another car.. Brake pads seated in holding clamps may be loose, dry or rusty.. Because even u go slow on bumpy or uneven road.. Tuis noise comes...
Secondly, dont get tensed.. It may not be a serious issue.. Just make a little effort. Please check bumper fittings, mud flap, every thing on right side to check if anything produces that sound.. But as u mentioned that it comes only going over uneven roads, symptoms indicate towards ur brake calipers n pins..
