Default Civic 2013 driver side door switch panels lamination tearing

    AOA,
Is anyone experiencing this in their latest civic? Showed it honda quaideen karachi whilst maintenance, howeve they suggested that I show it at Honda Drive Inn as a repsresentative from Atlas Honda Lahore sits there and would arrange a replacement/fix for it.

Have yet to travel the distance to show it, but in the meantime will shoot an email to Honda in Lahore I guess.

    Peace.

It just started to peel off all by itself. Its not paint, its laminated. Was not scratched at all. Thats why I am annoyed.

Looks like matt laminated sheet on plastic. But I guess the lamination is not of a very good quality which is why it is peeling off. Such manufacturing defects are very common in almost all Pakistani manufactured cars.

No rings or cufflinks. However they have arranged a replacement so will get it done on Monday. I hope it does not peel off again.

Are they replacing it free of cost? If not, how much will you have to pay? I haven't seen this sort of problem in any civic yet.

Wow. It's quite surprising that Honda didn't make a big deal out of it and in the end make you pay out of your own pocket.
So their warranty is actually a warranty. It's not for show. Cool!

Bhaijan 25 lac le rahay hain 1 panel badal dein tou it's no big deal, the little civic that sells today is on fair bit of quality in PKDM cars specially with the given price.

Now if they don't do it they'll really be in trouble and if the consumer knows how to then even Pak Suzuki pays in warranty let along atlas or indus

low quality indeed, hope the replacement wouldnt be the same. I think instead of only complaining to Atlas, Indus, we all should also send a complain to Honda, Toyota, and Suzuki in Japan so they may do something about their brands being let down by local assemblers! I had once incident when a Sony under warranty and after visiting two service centres in Lahore and no fix threat to make complain to Sony service headquarters made things plain sailing at once!

All local cars under warranty are actually taken care off, Its the dealerships that want to make a buck out of everything, You just need to know what button to click and you are done.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.
