Seeing is beleiving. I think anyone who has seen this car will not object on its price. I think its worth each penny of its cost. Civic totally out classes other cars in its category compare it with Altis, how much are you paying fot Altis and what are you getting in return.
To me Civic is still a good value car. And people will buy it like anything. Only concern could have been the fuel consumption of 1.8 engine which according to Honda will give same economy as 1.5 engine. So no issues here.
I Think the initial price of civic is very high , but as a second thought it is a cheesy babe made by HONDA its cool, classic with good interior, exterior and all that.
TOYOTA ROCKZ ALL OVA DA WORLD..................
wht has they done
civic for 13.39 lakhsssssssss
n the model has no cd changer, alloy rims, turning lights, sunroof, keyless entry and above all no fog lights lol
really m really skeptical
tht much for a base model oh god
went to the showroom 2 hrs bak to see the new civic......its awsome but i m a bit disappointed with the high price tag and on the differences b/w vti n vti oriel. the one who pays 1335 k is deprived of keyless remote entry, allloy rims, high quality fabric, fog lamps, cd changer and above all on steering cruise controls.......i m a civic lover but i m greatly disappointed on honda's strange policy of differences in the two variants.
Talha Mehmood------PW is an addiction with no cure
Had the opportunity to visit Honda Showroom and have a look at the new civic. No doubt it's the best in class, but that's no justification for the high price tag.
It certainly beats the old oriel and any other car in this class in its interior with digital speedo meter, wide dashboard, stylish hand brake, 3 spokes steering wheel and a lot more.
But on the other hand the exterior specially the front is bit of a disappointment, or it's too hip for me. I would still prefer the old one. The rare lights and whole arrangement is very classy and gives a fresh look in terms of design.
These were all the goodies, and now some cons...
1. Cheap sound system - flashy blue screen
2. Rare seat leg space
3. Side view reminds you of current rolla - identical twins
4. The whole civic design has been buffed up and it's lost its sleekness giving a rolla touch
I was always of the view that the new civic will have a high price tag and no 1.6L. But with this pricing it makes me wonder that Honda might have kept some cushion of launching a 1.6L in between 10.29 lacs and 13.29 lacs.
What do you think...
