i'll suggest to choose fully synthetic 75/90 or 75/85 or better if chosen per manual.
as the engine is in good condition, so don't go for thicker oils. Otherwise the gear will become harder and driving pleasure will be lost.
the gear oil of all companies are good. chose anyone like Zic, Kixx, PTT, etc. all these gear oils are good. I'll not suggest to choose Honda or Toyota's gear oil. Other companies are far better.

Hondas dont take such heavy gear oil for the manual transmission. They are specced for very light lube.

The gear oil to be used is actually engine oil, in Pakistan the best for this purpose is Caltex Delo Gold 15W40. The gearbox will take 2.5 litres. Change every 2 years

I drive a honda civic exi 2006. About two years ago, i changed my transmission or gear oil... I tried Geartec GL-5 by GS oil... You can also try it because my experience has been very good with it. Mine takes 1.5L of transmission oil so two one litre bottles were sufficient. Two years ago, they were for Rs.500 per litre bottle.

GL5 gear oil will hurt the brass synchros in the gearbox. The genuine Honda MTF is actually engine oil.
