If you want a tyre with excellent grip, soft and silent go for Yokohama DNA ECOS.
Its not a hearsay I am using them and found them to be the smoothest and silent tyre.

Continental ContiComfortContact 5. Go for them eyes closed. 3 new civic's of my family are rolling on these tires and my 8th gen civic also. They are flawless and even more comfortable and quieter than Yokohama Advan DB.

195 65 15 is the stock size. Should we go a bit bigger without disturbing any factors?

Secondly I am myself using Advan Db in other car and I am very satisfied with the road noise, grip and everything.

But I think why not go for a change this time..
Sk how much you got it for? And what about long life because most of the tyres are not designed for Asian tough/rough roads..

Brother don't go above 195 65R15 and if u want a bigger size that inchup to 16 " rims and size would be 205 55 r16.

Brother try michelin xm2 and u will say ur self that it is better than yokohama advan db or any other brand.

Michelin, yokohama, continental.. They're all the same.. ... Some people prefer certain brands because that's what they've been buying for ages.. Like in my family we've been using yokohamas for the past 10 years.
However this is what you should be aware of... A lot of tyre sellers sell smuggled/refurbished tyres so it's best to buy them from some one whom you know or with some reference.
They will give you a brand new recently manufactured tyre. They know which tyres in their stock are new and which ones are smuggled/refurbished. Let them choose.
The life of all imported brand new tyres is the same, and they have equal levels of comfort.
The only uncomfortable and noisy tyres are eurostars and I'm glad you're replacing them

Brother all imported brands are not same because when we are talking about imported Chinese brands also comes in this category.

Yes most of them are better than general but not all of them.

About the tyre life it has 5 years some say 6 years of shelf life from the date of production and 3 years from the date of first usage. You can per long them by saying them from sunlight.

^Brother Yokohama Advan DB last time I checked few days ago from Asad Tyres, Rawalpindi, he gave me price of Rs.9,000 for 195/65R15 and he said that tyres will come in a week so they are about to come and he also said that these tyres have a lot of demand so don't get any Michelin or Continental...I too will get these for my City 2013!!!

I dont know why we always de-rate domestic products. GENERAL has technical collaboration with Continental AG.
Secondly 75% of people continue using the OEM General tyres. I have 2006 civic running on General without any problem.

Maybe we have money to spare?

im using 215/55r16 wanli .. they are Chinese but 2013 manufactured ,, gotta say not bad at all , the only drawback I guess is wet road grip at high speeds ,, got good price on it and I think 40k kms should be no issue for these .. next time ill consider yoko or mich maybe ..
