    Default Help Civic 2000 model swap D15B 3stage V-tec came with its CVT Trans ECU P2J-J62

    i need help firends
    i have honda civic 2000 i m a self Auto mechanic recently swapped D15B 3stage Vtec engine in it.
    engine came with its CVT Auto Transmission and the ecu P2J-J62 which is an auto ecu .
    engine swapped succesfully no fault codes but the problem is with cvt transmission wiring and the cvt wires are not connected anywhere
    i have no idea where to connect them because transmission is not working does it require a TCM ??? or what any help will be appreciated and i will be very thankful let me out of this problem i want to use it with its auto cvt transmission so it can perform well thank youHELPPPP civic 2000 model Swap D15B 3stage Vtec  came with its CVT Trans ECU P2JJ62 -1327688

    I dont really think it came with CVT. If you have purchased complete engine it would have come with complete harness. If not find a complete harness

    actually this iis its original CVT transmission and this setup came in honda civic HX 96 and i google as much as i could so i am sure i have the right engine with gear and the compatible ECU but as i heard it will be will required a TCM too to operate the CVT . as afnan.bashir sahab u said i need complete dash harness yes may be but i can't get the civic 96 hx wiring here in karachi i found as much as i could and i hav no idea which TCM will suit with this setup if u can help me out it will be highly appreciated thank you.

    what's bad in switching to manual if you don't have the TCM ?

    While I'll search a solution for your problem, you should also think on that lines, because first you need a TCU and secondly, you need a matching one. Thirdly, why would one give you a TCU, it would have been come with an engine in scrap market and they are not going to give you TCU from the engine itself. Its a tough task to locate it from scrap markets, I bet on it. Secondly, or may be thirdly you can get it from abroad by ordering and searching appropriate part number.

    It Should Have It......There Are So Many Variants.....

    Best Is To Shift To Standard D Series Auto Trans......Else You Need To Find The ECU And TCU To Make It Work

    Or You Can Use Manual Trans......!!

    The OBD-II Varients Have That TCU Thing Whereas Before..Its Just Same ECU

    Thank you star2 for the kind reply you are right its the simple way to get it manual but actually i dont want to do it as it was stock auto pk civic 2000 you knows well the traffic issues here in khi so i want to keep it auto trans no wonder i will import the stuff but the important thing i should know what part to import .
    Btw the tcu assembles inside the dash and the dealer only imports engine and transmission so he dont have the tcu. Any help regarding the topic will be highly appreciated.

    SER_GTR i dont want manual tranny and i have got its p2j-j62 ecu with it . And as i said its was auto by company but that transmission doesnt suite this engine infact perfomance is very bad thats why i want to use its cvt trasnmission so that this setup can perfom well with all three stages vtec.

    I got the P2j-j62 ecu with this swap and today i found the tcu which is originally for this cvt transmission tranny code is M4VA and its tcu which i found today is 28100- PEJ-013 ..
    Finally so the problem is how do i connect it with my ecu and the dash wiring infact what i need to do know to get my cvt tranny work .
