Moreover, I have just checked the A/T control unit (TCM) 28100-P2C-904 F, both the connectors A-26 pin and connector B-22 pin have got the same color coded wires as shown in the pictures in the above post #38.

Please also check the wires of the TCM you have got and then color match (also check the size of the wires) with the unattached wires as you discussed in your opening post. If you find the wires between the ECM and TCM, you are almost done with this job.
thanks alot Mr Shabbir.1 i will update tomorrow i hope i can do this now. i will let know if i am stuck between .

I will try to help you understand the wiring procedure but in first step you please download the service manual of 96-00 civic. It may seem difficult but its not that much hard in reality.

Brother I am not an expert at all but I love to work myself on my car and try to learn things all the times. I will try to study about M4VA (CVT) transmission apart from the wiring and if was able to help you i will definitely do it. In meanwhile someone else may come forward to help you. I have PM'ed you my contact details.

Please read pages 1819-1827 (first page to be considered page #1) before proceeding. Upon reading this section you will learn how to interpret the wiring scheme.

Read pages 882 and 883 for CVT general wiring scheme.
Then read pages 901, 903 till 906 for little further insight of the system and location of the different components.

On page #2132 you can see the both connectors of the TCM and the wire color codes of the attached wires and also their usage, here you can also see the unused cavities of both connectors.

Also see page # 2133-2134, here you can see the ECM (ECU) connectors i.e., like the ECU/ECM you have got (P2J-J62). If the wire color codes matches that of yours (engine wire harness that you have recently acquired) then things are pretty much straight forward.

Now jump to page # 1927 and check it carefully up to page # 1930. Here you will find what number of wire (with color code) on a particular connector connects where. Male/female connectors, associated circuits and sensors all are given with details.

Still some detail will be missing which may not be necessary at this stage like how and where the shift indicator lights are wired and their connector details, you can find detail about them in the subsequent sections at any time.

I hope this may help you in successful wiring of the CVT (M4VA).

Many Congratulations!! Now please be a helping hand over here as you may know many people don't know the advantages of a CVT transmission with this particular engine and there are many who use this engine coupled with a manual tranny controlled through an auto ECU/ECM.

I know what a CVT is.

This certain CVT is very unique, when you boot it the car will respond like its got a bad clutch then all of a sudden you get power delivery. There was one car in Karachi with this as original equipment (it was a NCP, chassis number tamper etc).

The owner used to complain it was "gear kharab hai"

a little hope and u've got the results
Btw i was curious about the shift lever mentioned earlier on , have u change it with the oem auto or running the same ?
It has a blower type switch at the right side which engages the SPRINT and ECO mode and signals you with a light in the cluster
I've seen 96-98 JDM variants with S and E switch on shift lever but only one 00 with steermatic controls
