Default Buying a honda civic hybrid, needed suggestion

Ok i am a silent user of pakwheels where i usually read the post but never wrote anything.

Ok as my topic suggest that i am going to buy a honda civic hybrid may b on monday as i had already given the token of that car.

So now what i want from the user of civic hybrid or any member who have knowledge about this car is that whether should i go for it or not even if it will give ard 16 to 17 km/l ill be ok with it.

In a budget of ard 1.9m i have many option to go for even i can buy pakistani civic as well but reason is that i have to fill the tank by myself so for that i go for hybrid. Prius is not of my type as i hate the interior plus exterior of that car.

Now please tell me the pros and cons of this vehicle.

Sharing the pics of the vehicle and auction verified by the shahzaib. Special thanks to shahzaib jdm import.

Question Civic Hybrid Vs Toyota Prius

Since you have already paid token money and have your mind fixed on the Civic so maybe you should go ahead and get it. Seems like a nice and clean car. Just for info you can go through the web-link I have posted. Just to give you an idea, although it is about the latest models of both the Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic Hybrid.

Sir jee, i have talked to a car importer, he said to me that mostly people drive Hybrid car with light foot, to get good mileage from it, you have to drive it like an C.N.G car i.e. little hard on accelerator.

Battery is not an issue as it has a life of approximately 500,000 km

Its a good car but you could've gone for a Honda Insight , which has better looks and milage
Overall it will give you 16 in city (All depends on driving it can increase and decrease too)
Just front right fender is painted which is w2 i.e it will be visible
    Still a good car

    Yeah i know about fender...
First i was going for insight but my dad increases the budget so i opted civic.
The reason going for civic is the shape.
So its means that it will give ard 16km/l which is i think ok for me.

My humble advice would be to look elsewhere. An Insight is a far better car than Civic Hybrid. Having said that, the second generation Prius would be the best buy, if you don't have budget for the third generation.

Google for reviews on the internet.

Civic Hybrid is much better then the prius I have owned and also own and sold a few of em imported em, the civic hybrid parts are cheaper then prius a hell of lot cheaper, it does 17 to 18 km in city and on long drives 20 km the battery is good and even to replace is 45000 rs compare the built quality its much stronger then the prius, every1 loves the prius for its economy but when parts of prius are needed there ten times more expensive then civic parts.... Insight hybrid is good car but unfortunately the Insight parts are rare and expensive then the toyota prius.

I own a Honda Civic Hybrid (UK Version) from last two years and Alhamdulillah I'm very happy with it. I preferred it on Toyota Prius because of its MORE attractive shape and readily available cheaper spares in the market as we also have the same shape of Civic in Pakistan.

It gives me an average of 21-23km/ltr (4.7 to 4.9l/100km). U can see in the following image a fuel economy of 4.9ltrs/100km over a range of over 8000kms.
