Default Buying a honda civic hybrid, needed suggestion

Ok i am a silent user of pakwheels where i usually read the post but never wrote anything.

Ok as my topic suggest that i am going to buy a honda civic hybrid may b on monday as i had already given the token of that car.

So now what i want from the user of civic hybrid or any member who have knowledge about this car is that whether should i go for it or not even if it will give ard 16 to 17 km/l ill be ok with it.

In a budget of ard 1.9m i have many option to go for even i can buy pakistani civic as well but reason is that i have to fill the tank by myself so for that i go for hybrid. Prius is not of my type as i hate the interior plus exterior of that car.

Now please tell me the pros and cons of this vehicle.

Sharing the pics of the vehicle and auction verified by the shahzaib. Special thanks to shahzaib jdm import.

my dad has a 2009 pkdm civic.

i was talking to my dad to get a prius and his immediate answer was OMG its looks are v bad. He is an architect so design matters to him a lot.

after the last post. now i am thinking to ask him to import a civic hybrid.

yahan pakistan main aik bhair chaal hai. Prius Prius Prius Prius Prius. i sat in a few n dint find it as good as the fans say. civic of the model u chose looks wayyyyyyy better inside n out. properly proportioned lights and lines of the car.

Go for it as consuption is not much impressive will will give u ard 15 - 16km/l with ac in city

I have a civic hybrid, its a great comfortable car to drive but the fuel consumption is very dissapointing for a hybrid. It hardly does 14km/l in city with AC if I drive carefully. However on long route the average is good around 18-19 km/l with AC. Acceleration is pretty good but not as good as prius, as I own both Prius and civic. Prius easily does 20km/l with AC in city. If i drive carefully jt even does 25-26 km/l.

prius 1.5 and civic hybrid 1.3, both are 110 hp peak, but acceleration varies throughout the range, because prius has bigger electric motor, and larger batteries to support it, and electric motors provide their peak torque throughout their rpm range, so prius would has more torque available at any instant. hence better acceleration. plus prius' shape although not catchy to eyes allows it to travel through air more easily at higher speed.

prius 1.8 is 134hp peak, but again it has more peak torque at any instant that combined with cvt tranny gives it a lead over r18 141 hp civics, which get their peak torque only for some few hundred rpm range.
