    -d15b, no power.
    -b16, no torque.
    -h series too old.

need modern one out of accord with possibly auto transmission. someone tell me cost estimate. I've found these ones are on sale at ~80-100k on pw, some recent ads from this yr (2014) as well...so its not 3lacs.

performance experts of lahore plz comment. qwerty plz ask them to help me.

K20 with Auto Transmission probably not possible because its auto gear is huge. Otherwise it possible. Thing is this engine is installed with throttle body comes to front. Not sure where did you say k20 below 100k........

Also do check specs for weight of this engine as compared to existing

Either you would have to cut the Hood or let the Oil Pan too low

See the Difference and uet its Manual Tranny auto is even bigger than this

Custom mounts Big reason to worry

ok. now tell me what are good bolt on or almost bolt on options. I just need a newer model engine with good torque (the latest engine that can fit in 6th gen civic). the h, b, d series are too old, and b and d is too small...h not economical.
I need a newer i-vtec, but apparently k series dont fit. does that mean I buy maybe 7th gen?

there are so many reasons NOT to throw in a K regardless of the type of tranny so why not skip that part
Why not go for a F series motor with auto tranny ? I guess you already have an auto variant civic that is why you need an auto right ?

I have F series engine in my accord if you remember i told you when i asked to get some suggestions for my car. It is aggressive but F series is also getting rare in market....... F18 B costs 93 k with auto tranny.......

By the way havent seen your car in UOL since few days..... do you still come there?

Your best bet would be D17........... if you intend to go above that believe me it is going to be a crap swap because guys here do not do full complete swap with correct wirings.

In my accord engine was swapped from F18A to F18B carb to EFi engine came in 2000 accord.

I spent one month just to complete wiring to ECU and sensors according to schematic..... o boy.......... these mechanics just know how to get your engine started........

if you do swap do it rite otherwise dont even think of it

I come to uni almost 4 days a week and the car is parked in front of civil dept next to cafe
I suggested him F20 DOHC motor as OP has in mind NOT to go for D and I've seen quite a few fresh and complete F series motors in Bilal Gunj since the last couple of months
Its a good option in 2.0L category having lesser weight and displacement than H but the foundation is almost same
D series is getting rare day by day and D17 would be too scarce and parts would be problem
throwing a K with auto tranny is nothing but a big mess
And if OP can afford a manual even then he would need branded mounts for a durable and reliable swap and the price would be nothing less than 200k engine itself

Yes this did not came to my mind you can go for F22B, similar BHP as H22..... F20B and i have seen blue top F23A VTEC...... remember they all are flat tappet engines they are old school...... D17 is new you select either new or old school....... if economy is not matter then go for F series DOHC

k20 can be fit....budget needed anywhere from 4-6 lakhs for a working reliable swap.

i would suggest a b18c out of an integra 96-2001 model...best swap for your car.
