    Default civic 2002 stearing rack seal leake from left boot side

    The stearing rack is leaking from left boot side.If it is repairable or I have to chang the rack.If its possible to replace the seals of(kangi).Or Ihave to go for EPS.Its useful?Help needed.

    Seal can be replaced with no problem
    Its repairable

    Civic is always a flop when it comes to power steering, steering rack, steering return pipe and rack motor they are not reliable at all even half as reliable as XLi.

    Even the Reborn had problems.

    Change the whole rack with used japani one.

    Seals kit will cost you 4,500 for genuine seals and prepare another 4-5K for labour and a whole day work.

    EPS kit is not available for these cars.

    At last changed the steering rack with EPS Electronic one.WoRking great.Steering became hard on high speed and soft at low speed.Removed all the stuff of HPS.
