Thread: How to purge the colling system of a 95 Civic

    Default How to purge the colling system of a 95 Civic

    Hey all,

    I want bleed air from my cooling system, there is a purge valve at the end of the upper hose (circled in yellow) but I don't know how to use it. I have done the funnel procedure and have gotten most of the air out, took a lot of time but it sort of did the trick. I further would like to know how to bleed air through this valve. P.S. I have taken this picture from the internet.

    xulfiqar bro it will be nice of u ,if u come up wtih vacuum diagram of these engines,which rubber pipe goes to where and serves what function,or a diy...............i searched a lot for owners manual for d15b3 engine but no luck while other side net iz filled up wid vtecs manuals

    The carburettor in the Pakistani civic is very simple, Just like the old 1.2 litre models, has about 6 or 8 vacuum tubes, If a mechanic cannot repair that then I have no words to say except - to tell him to eat ginger and chilli peppers.

    and i hve one further question there is a jet beneath filter holder,one is a air bleed valve dats fine but there is another one in my car which iz having no connection,and on other side all jets are connected,no unconnected jet,otherwise i wud hve connected dis jet to below filter holder jet if any unattended one waz there,How to purge the colling system of a 95 Civic -1401626 xulfiqar bro do u know where it goes for refernce

    What could cause a sudden drop in revs after deccelerating? The throttle is set at 800 rpm on CNG and 950 on petrol. Yet whenever I deccelerate, the rev counter goes to 150-200 rpms which makes the car stall some of the time. It then slowly comes back up to the set rpms if left idling. The motor is also taking load at idle, when I turn on the headlights or any other electrics, the rpm drops again to 150-200 rpm. It's a recent issue, before that it was all fine. What could cause this?
