Post Running cost of modified Civic 95

My friend has modified civic which i am very interested in buying. He has not done anything to the engine......its sticll stock 1.5L V-TECH....only the body is modified.......and 17" low profile tyre...I'd need some opinion about its mileage on petrol only. How about the running cost of this particular vehicle...??

well...PKDM civic 95 does not come with a vtec engine...it has a carby gas guzzler (especially due to old)...

a 17" low profile ... i recon it will be somewhere between 7-10kmpl...if ideally tuned it might give u 10.5-11 without a/c...

    dont expect much though.

The carby has a very good fuel economy though, I know because I own one.

^ i owned 1 95 and fuel econ sucked........i mean literally sucked....now age plays a great factor here...i never said that carbies have bad fuel economy...but due to wear n tear they tend to go bad...plus the mechanics fiddle now and than making it worse.

If you are talking about D15 efi which should be as u have mentioned Vtech it will give you an average b/w 10-12 km/L. And if you are running carby it will give you max 9 km/L.

If D15B is dropped in you can get 11.5-13.5 km/l depending upon your driving style and also depending upon engine condition.
Almost everyone in Pakistan is doing corruption to the extent they can. Our leaders are doing at the level they can do. So why should we complain?

Ask your friend about it. If he's a good friend he won't lie to you. He knows the facts of his car.
Everyone else can only speculate at best.
