    Dont know about Honda but i think Geniune Immobilizer of Honda would also be somewhat similar to Baleno....In Baleno there is no separate immobilizer...it is built in ECU....so if you want to change immobilizer you need to change ECU....you can alo reprogram it if you want to dispose origional keys and make new ones with new code....and cost is around 8500per key + ECU cost + Programming cost....total would end up around 50K

    @NiGhTShAdE

    Thanks bro. But my honda civic 2000 does not have immobilizer. Company didn't insert this option in this model. But I am thinking to put immobilizer in my car but according to your thoughts, it seems to difficult for me.

    but still get it checked or show it to some Honda 3S dealer....to have exact idea...maybe your car's ECU may have the option to support Immobilizer in it.....i heard Civics were first Pakistani Cars to have immobilizer....if 2002/3 Baleno have Immobilizer...there is a pretty good chance that 2000 civic would have one too.... btw are you 100% sure that your Car key does not hold Transponder chip??

    @NiGhTShAdE

    Thanks bro. BTW what is Transponder chip? How to find this?

    I don't know about this one because I recently bought this car and I am really satisfied with my car. But this car doesn't have factory fitted immobilizer.

    Honda only introduced immobilizer in pkdm reborn (2006 onwards) and latest version pkdm. Below 2006 model, there is no immobilizer option put by company.

    Now we want information from @Xulfiqar

    If you want OEM one........... Simple answer NO. Basically in cars with immobilizer there is a receiver near Ignition Switch and it is connected with ECU through certain communication protocol.

    If other
    There are way too many third party keylocks available like that. You can get similar in 3500 because my friend got it installed in his corolla.

    If i had to do some stuff like this............. Custom immobilizer is just the beginning

    Transponder Key has a chip placed in it(usually in plastic part) that corresponds with immobilizer antena placed near the ignition swicth...so car would not start until that chip tells ECU to mobilize the car......simple duplicate key wont work....
    Anyways as confirmed by above posts...this model does not have it.... alternate option is to get some good security system with answer back option in remote....and get it wired from some good electrician who wires it in a way that it gets hard to figure out which wire is which to the immobilizer....

    very simply put

    your car came with no immobilizer and its wiring does not have any provision of adding modules (if you notice even the wiring color of Pakistani civics are a little different)

    you can install your own choice of commercial available remote unit but make sure you know what you are doing if you wish to isolate the ECU from working at all. The "lektrishann" nitto taping a unit behind the knee panel does not qualify for being an immobilizer.

    @imransavul

    In Peshawar, each and every thing is possible from juggar Ustads.

    Do you think that Rs. 22000 is too much for only immobilizer?

    Also you are exposing your car to some juggar electrician for improper wiring to ecu and some other important wiring of your car. I advice you to check with 3s dealer for safe wiring with ecu, igniation and for satisfaction level.
