    Default What engine oil to be used in Honda Civic exi prosmatic 2006.

    My car has done 100000 or may be more as I purchased it in used condition. Can anyone suggest me what oil brand is most suitable for my car. My car very slightly uses oil. Khawaja Jodat Chemical Engr. Wapda Town, Lhr.

    u mean it reduces oil?do u top it up or oil consumptn is negligible

    No I haven't noticed any engine oil consumption. The oil level remains unchanged. Some people say to switch to 20w/50 oil during summer season and in winter switch back to 10w/40. What is your opinion about this schedule.

    use the honda packing white box/synthetic oil 3.7 ltr precise

    20w/50 only for cars which burn oil and need top ups
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    What is the right quantity 3.7lit or 3.5lit ? I m using 3.5 lit oil on every oil change in same model car..

    It doesn't make any difference. With only 2 point less oil in car engine won't hurt it. However, as to be on safer side you try to fill up to 3.7 liters.
