Check the power steering fluid level and it should be up to the mark. If power steering fluid is very dirty then replace it with fresh one by first draining the old oil. Use stp or honda original ps oil. Check the belt tension, if found loose then get it tighten. Check tires air pressure, it should be 30 psi in all tires. Lastly there is possibility that your ps pump has become faulty. Get it checked or replaced with refurbished one. Please tell me does your ps pump make growling noise or it is noiseless while you steer your car.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I checked the fluid level it's good, and oil color is reddish, when steer it does not make any noise, but when I press accelerate and steer then I hear ps motor noise....

Ok I see...I think your power steering pump has become faulty and it require replacement with refurbished one from Bilal Gunj Lahore. It will cost you around Rs 5000. Here is a dealer in Bilal Gunj who sells power steering pumps Butt Brothers 03009402130 and 03024607288. However, I suggest you to also get it checked from a good mechanic for further verification before replacing the P/S pump. But I am pretty sure that your car P/S pump has become faulty.

Thank you guys, yesterday I want to my local garage and they told, me this issue happend because of wrong ps fluid, so they told me your current fluid has damaged the, ps motor and steering box, I have to replace both, they did not checked it in detail, we'll they told me to drain the current fluid and change to different one, ATF DX-III(GsOil) the filled this fluid, and told me to try it if it fix the problem but nothing happend. So there final decision was that I should change the motor (price 6500) and steering box (price 12000) and 2000 there fee. I thought they are trying to rip me of.. So now I have made the decision I will change the motor, so I want to ask that current fluid is good or not for my civic?

Hi dude I think it is not wise to change the rack and pinion (Steering box) with reconditioned one. Just change the power steering pump first and see what happens. If the problematic signs found eliminated then go ahead and enjoy. Mostly the groaning noise is produced from faulty p/s pump. If there is a problem with your rack and pinion then most likely the signs are misalignment of front wheels, pulling of car to one side again and again even if the tires air pressure is correct and if the car wanders while driving or its front suspension rattles while driving on rough road.
