    Hello All PW'S.

    Hope you all fine.

    I want to know that which stock engine is placed in Honda Civic 99-00 vti orial automatic?

    I know that it is 1.6l but I don't know which series engine is fitted by company like D16???

    Please experts including @racerali tell me exact stock engine present in civic 99-00 vti orial automatic by Honda company.

    i think d16y8 on vti and d15b on exi in pkdm 2000 civic .... am i right ?
    and its not mentioned on manual i got with my car

    baray bhai gari lee hai ya tention

    pakistani vtis are d16y8

    most cars 96 to 2000 have engine swapped in market due to one reason or the other.usually people dont rebuild but swap.its cheaper and practical
    and in junk yard usually they swap in d15b, dual vtec block because the sensors fit in clip to clip
    meaning zero alteration is required

    auto transmission of this model is quiet khota.....just keep changing the auto oil @ 40,000 km's

    u r lucky if ur car is in its own engine.
    just dont let the car overheat at any point.
    Life is short and very unpredictable just like a Quarter mile .....

    Please clear one thing is that what is written in your HONDA sale invoice/receipt either 1490cc or 1590cc? Please check the cc in your paper you will realize which engine is placed in your car? Please tell me this one after checking.

    In my honda sales invoice/receipt, there is written that engine capacity is 1590cc that is 1.6l according to Honda receipt. So I have D16 series.

    What about yours?

    Bro I have Honda civic vti orial automatic 99-00 having stock engine, transmission and all accessories come with engine still stock. Car has run 2lakh+ but still engine and transmission is like new. Just did all maintenance before time.

    Also body has in original and stock colour except bumpers which is slightly showers for fresh look rest of the body has original and stock colour. Never did touching or shower the car.

    hoda sale invoice may tu 1590 but main nay khud swap karwaya hai to 1493cc aur is swap ka pata nahi chalta abhi take 15 bhi nahi ker wayi and one more thing honda civic exi has 1.3l non vtec engine

    and:motorway per 170kmh ki speed per aik dog hit huwa aur radiator leak ho gaya air mainay heat ki gauge nahi dekhi engine head gasket karab ho gayi aur aagy bohat labi kahani hay

    Do you think 35K labour of Honda centre is justified?

    My mechanic in I-10/3 will do this job perfectly. He is very honest person, experienced mechanic and I know that time when Toyota sent their brand new car to rectify their manufacturing faults which even not resolve by their own dealer mechanics.

    Why Honda center charged too much 35k?

    Ans: As charges r bit high and some extra like patrol to run car idle 5-6 hour,radiator wash ,three oil change air ,oil filter,coolent P.S fluid
    etc
