Default Scratched the front bumper of my 2014 Honda civic. I need help painting it again

Went to the dealership and bought a touch up paint which looked like white out. I applied it and let it dried, but the color looks different. The stain is clearly visible and I am not sure what to do at this point. I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars just to get this spot fixed. Is there any touch up paint or something I can buy?

For now leave it as it is or else in my opinion, you'll have to repaint the whole bumper.
Did you went to Honda dealership or just a local denter/painter?

Repainting the whole bumper is an option that they are talking about, but its way too expensive. And yeah I did go to honda dealership.

Whaaaat! First they recommended you and now they're saying the scratch is big! Seriously if I was at your place I would have beaten them at the spot!
Didn't they had eyes or brains? What were they thinking when they recommended you this thing!
Go back to them and just tell them paint my bumper for free as you guys are the one who recommended me this thing, didn't you saw that scratch before? Just bash them so that they come back in their senses! :@
When you went them to show this mess that this thing have done, you should have scolded them at that time, I guess it's too late now, but at least you can give it a try and be angry and strict this time!

Sorry about this. Well touch up paint is not for deep scratches. It just to hide very little pin holes type paint repairs. Deep scratches in which the base coat gets visible these can't be used and to be honest sometimes touch up paint will make it look more horrible and noticeable. You should have shares pictures before the repairs so that any recommendations would have been made. bumper repair mostly can be by spray of paint and then compound and color correction. It will cost you around $200 normal cost or maybe less. Bumper gets harsh treatment every where so spending alot of money on it isn't a good idea anyway. do a survey a get it repainted. I can tell you after few months you will again see minor scratch during parking on the streets. This is the reason we have bumper protectors lol

I always keep factory color touchup in my car and fix any minor pin holes with slight tip of pen. Pen is not for long and deep scratches. Don't use it. You will ruin the car

its very rare that the dealership will only paint a spot on the car. They will always recommend a full paint job on that part of the car. However, iv seen people who buy the color coded paint from the dealership and let a roadside painter paint the spot. By roadside painter, I mean someone who has the skill, experience and facility to do proper paint jobs.

If your original paint hasnt yellowed out over time, than this should not be a problem.

Thank you so much for all the help.

I guess I screwed up by using the touch up pen but I learned my lesson

Now, how do I get rid of the paint I applied with the touch up pen?

    This is my game plan;

    - Sand the effected area and remove all the paint
    - Use a filler to fill the scratches
    - Sand the area again to make it smooth again
    - Use the plastic primer on the area
    - Use the liquid spray paint that goes with my car's color

Am I on the right track here?

Take it to an automative paint shop they will match the colour, and give you hardener also, I recently did paint dashboard and interior panels of khyber, paint shop owner checked the colour mixed three colours gave me enough quantity of hardener (used to paint plastic parts) all things cost me 150 Rs for paint 50 Rs for hardener and 220 Rs for Thinner (Liter).

You can do it easily, just show them the colour of bumber.

For the rest follow the steps mentioned above by you. You only mismatched the colour.
