    Default puffing sound from exhaust

    Salam to all pw's
I need to ask why my car is giving puffing noise from tail pipe. It is like " phuk phuk phuk " kinda noise with no interval. Car is doing this on both petrol and cng. Also fuel average is very poor . plz suggest wat could be the possible cause for all this. Idle is smooth but exhaust is not smooth. Car is 2000 civic exi M/T
    Thnx

seems like your engine is missing. a tune up may solve the problem.
But the question is, will it do a burnout?

It’s the problem of your cars big dholki which is leaking so you can get it repaired/changed from some Silencer shop.

the first step is to make sure that there are no leaks in the exhaust.

next thing would be to check the spark plug wires for arcing. Replace the distributor cap and rotor if they have been used for more than 50,000 km.

also check if the ignition coil is arcing, if not then still check it's resistance.

if ignition is good then something is wrong with fuel injection (i think it will be a problem with ignition)
