Default 8th Gen Honda Civic Problem

    I need some expert advice.

I have an 8th gen civic prosmatic, honda maintined, milage around 50,000KMs.
Suddenly, the car starts giving a weird "whirring" sound when i put it in reverse. This just started today.

There are no problems in any other gears, just reverse.

Any clues as to what is wrong?

    Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

Take it to a mechanic. Me and my father also have a civic. If you over look the problem something worse will happen. Take it to a car doctor.

This is a common problem in every 8th gen civic. No need to worry at all actually ur car oil mounting is broken or in desi term(mounting beth gya hai). This particular thing happened to me also initially u will find noise in cold engine with gear in "R"by time when u drive it u will feel noise when crossing speed breaker that ur car shocks are also gone. Simply go to any dealership only this part is under warranty if ur car is not 5 years old or 110000 km driven. They will enter ur claim in their system and within 2-3 days u will get ur part replaced free of cost.
If not under warranty than 14900 mounting + 1500 labor.
Do it asap before this thing hurt other mountings
