Default Civic 9th Gen - Repair

It just had to happen one day. =/ So tonight, I've managed to get my car scratched pretty badly against a van's protruding pedestal.

I need to get the right back door repaired (or replaced?) at the bottom, alongside a couple of inches of body. Where can I get it repaired in Islamabad? Genuine place, please. Any help in this regards will be duly appreciated.

Worst experience of paint job from honda center rawalpindi. Motor experts and amjad motors in I-10 re good. TOYOTA GT motors are best in paint and repair job.

Have you guys tried Honda Classic in I-10 for paint work like this? There won't be any paint matching issues?

    Sir
go to motor expert in i-10
they are really good and reasonable rates
never go to any dealership for body work......they are insane
My civic had a minor hit, honda centre gave me an estimate of 15k for repairs and 30k for replacement (fender and bumper)
I told them to dry dent it as the paint was fine but they denied saying yeh dry nahi ho sakta
i have insurance so they told me to go to motor expert, they fixed the dent without any repaint and also adjusted the headlight. Total cost came at 1600rs. Its fixed perfectly, well as perfect as it can get on a dry repair, the bumper has 2 marks. Didn't repaint it.
anyways do give them a try.

Post a pic of door. I can recommend a very skilled denter for dry denting, best in twin cities if paint is not scrapped.

Here are three images of the damage caused. I do not mind paying for getting it back to absolutely original shape. I want it to look exactly like how it was, brand new. =/ So just tell me which place can I go to which can make it look exactly like original, no scratch/dent/discoloration - just what it was - originally.

I dont think this is candidate for dry denting.

Frankly, if I was you I would live with this and not get it repaired.

Try polishing it couple of times, the scratches might go away and the dents will not be that obvious.

You will have to get it repainted. It's tough to match metallic colours, so yeah, a large portion might have to be painted.
If I was you, I would've got the door replaced if you can find it in Genuine factory seals and it's cost worthy.

just get it compounded 2-3 times to get rid of the scuff marks
Most of them will be removed
get the rest of the scratches kalam and you are good to go
Trust me do not get this repainted/repaired. You ll curse yourself later on.
they ll apply filler to straighten out the dent which will, after repaint, look swollen and fugly. Plus there will be visible colour difference.
Just do what I have explained

@kursed Panel and door both are candidates of dry denting. Door can be easily dry dented. However panel will not be in best condition. Don't ever go to Honda people. They will spray your whole side snd door to match the paint.
There is a denter named ejaz denter. Sits behind malikabad shopping centre. Go there and ask anyone about him. He is very very skilled and your door will be dry dented easily and apply kalam on scrapped off part. If you get it painted, your car will devalue greatly as 2 pieces will be painted and believe me silver color never ever matches exactly as factory paint. I have a silver city and I've been through this. Here is the contact number. 0321 5352247(Ejaz denter).
This very man even removed hail dents from my car without paint when everyone said that whole roof will be painted including Honda classic people. My suggestion is to visit him and seek for his opinion.

Dont go to Honda Classic I-10 because they will paint the entire side of the car just for colour matching. It has happened with me. Motor expert was good but has really degraded over the past 2 years. None of their denter/painter stays instead leave the shop just after months. Simply go to auto club located at the back side of motor expert as he is the best in town. The best painter of Motor Xpert has joined auto club and he himself said to me while working in Motor Xpert that auto club is expensive but has much better quality control.

Is there any way I can just get a new door? Will honda people replace the door for me?

Also, what's the solution for the panel? I shouldn't go to honda people for the panel as well?

The door can be ; the danaged outer 'skin' will be replaced. Honda will do it. Fender honda will give u a new one if u or ur i surance are willing to pay for it.

you are advising him to cut and weld a whole new rear fender for something which I doubt even qualifies for a dent? :O

Ali, thanks for the reply. Any idea how much will this skinning cost? As for panel, can't it be properly repaired? Only choice is to replace it?

plus if you replace the door or even the door skin
there will be visible difference in paint shades and anyone will be able to easily detect the repainted part
In turn it will look even worse

insurance will never pay to replace the whole rear fender for such a small thing
