NO, the new civic multimedia is both Android auto and apple car play compatible in United States.

Also the Navigation in US is Honda satellite linked with real time traffic. I am not sure if you can get it worked in Pakistan if you import one. Here in US These units are also not plug n play and coded specific to car and VIN. So buying a used ones involves risks due to builtin security features. The new units from dealer easily cost in four digits [$], plus you will need the harness as well.. it's a costly affair with still risk if it will work with all feature..

Now I guess the base version will be with regular 1.8 engine but with CVT it will cost 25 lakhs ... Top of the line will be 1.5 turbo and it cost around 28 lakhs.

Plus that UG crap by atlas which has leather seats etc. Base will cost around 27 and top of the line will cost around 30.
Honda should atleast make leather seats and DVD standard now like Indus.

They should also get rid of steel wheels now and offer alloy rims in all Civic trims

There is a chance that some Honda Atlas director or his son or his relative or senior manager is seeing this thread on Pakwheels. He/She must be really happy with the discussion that is going on here in which people are speculating an expected price of ~30 lacs for new Civic. This is giving them more confidence to introduce the new model at a high price as people have already prepared their mind to pay an amount that is significantly higher than the existing price range. Normally every car assembler is hesitant (although they love) to increase the price significantly when a new model is introduced, with the fear that it is not accepted by the market. However, just by reading this thread, it is quite obvious that people have already prepared their minds for paying a lot more than now.

If you ask me, no matter how much better the new model (and Turbo technology) is over the current model, Civic price should be kept at the same level, as Honda will still make a lot of profit at 20-25 lacs even and a lower price tag will definitely increase the volumes many folds from the current pathetic levels and can actually dent the volumes of Toyota in a major way. If Honda wants domination in the local market, they have to adjust their pricing strategy and exploit the elastic nature of their product. With such a high fixed cost business, increase in volume will bring them more profits than keeping this high price, low volume strategy. Right now, their high price strategy is effective in only keeping the prestige factor intact i.e. Civic is the priciest as compared to other local models like Corolla Altis etc, but if they increase the prices to around 30 lacs level, that will mean they remain a small player as compared to Toyota who will actually benefit from Civic price increase as this will give them license to increase Altis Grande price to around 27-28 lacs without any model change!

I have not made my mind for civic at that high price. If it costs around 30 lakhs then no need of civic.

If not 30 then what do you say, how much price do you expect for 1.8 Cvti with full option is justified?

I think honda lags behind in this thing, toyota offers lcd info system even in 1.6 and the base 1.8 while atlas is being a little cheap here.

Agree but an above 20 mn civic can't harm the the superiority of toyota in this industry based on gli. Not many people have this budget afterall. However they can trump altis models if they try hard.

Even if Civic is priced lower than Altis (hypothetically) it is not going to sell more. It has a limited clientele in Pakistan.

Any of Civic trims have no correlation with Xli.
Be polite on the road. Always give way to others, particularly ambulances and pedestrians.

Default 10th Generation Civic ; The Global Civic. [This is IT!]

Altis can be compared to city aspire. And I think city is better option. Civic can be compared with grande and we all know which is better. GLI is equal to city. Xli does not have any competition that's why it's hot selling variant in Indus portfolio.

Even Xli is way more comfortable than top of line City. Drive City for 50 kms daily, lag pata jai ga
