Capless fueling eliminates the fuel cap, meaning that fueling the vehicle simply requires opening the fuel lid, refueling, and then closing the lid. This smart and easy-to-use design eliminates the need to touch a dirty fuel cap, reduces the possibility of damaging the vehicle's paint with the fuel cap or tether, or forgetting the fuel cap at the gas station. It also eliminates the possibility of activating an emissions warning by failing to properly re-install the fuel cap. And finally, the capless fueling system allows the use of a smaller fuel-cap door, which cleans up the lines of the vehicle.

The system consists of two integrated components, an outer shutter mechanism that prevents the intrusion of dirt and dust, and a self-sealing fueling flap that is closed by a torsion spring. Both operate automatically.

At a gas station, the driver simply pushes the fuel lid to release it and then inserts the fuel nozzle. Inserting the nozzle automatically opens the outer shutter and fueling flap. When fueling is complete, removing the fuel nozzle automatically closes both the fueling flap and outer shutter

Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

The compatibility of the filler is only acceptable to fuel nozzle. It's like a locking mechanism which will unlock the opening only with the filling nozzle as a key.
However if you plan to steal fuel from the tank, you need to use just a head of the nozzle without the rear handle. After you have done that and specially got one arranged to steal fuel from Civic tanks, if the car comes with a strainer, you will next be encountered by a mesh/filter/jaali before the pipe enters the tank. For that you will have to use a hard steel wire with blades at the end to be inserted so the mesh can be punctured. After you are sure the mesh is punctured enough to insert a flexible pipe for suction of fuel then you may succeed.

The upcoming civic would be quite longer and wider than the existing corolla, 4650mm length and 1799mm width vs 4620mm length and 1775mm width of corolla, with 1416mm height vs 1475mm height of corolla, civic road presence would be much more impressive than the existing corolla.

Dear all, the purpose of posting these pictures is not a Corolla VS Civic war. It's just for reference of visual comparison only

So went to Honda City Sales today and there were lots of Japanese parent company executives there on visit. Not sure if it's related to it but Civic X is apparently something big for Honda PK. The excitement is building up

The sales manager guy told me the face lift city is selling like crazy and Civic X will be ready for booking on 15th June.

      Thanks!

Mostly because they have FIR attached to their record, most have duplicate number plates, tempered chassis.. it depends on case to case.

Must be the reason why these are going common these days.
