Default 10th Generation Civic Exclusive Pakistan Launch

Guys I'm wondering if tyre shops would easily accept these local 215/55-16 at a good price like they used to adjust Eurostars 195/65-15.
Because the Euros would fit on almost all local cars currently. But 16 rim is specific to Civic X. It's not like C class owners would mostly put them either on their cars. So for an initial year or two at least even those replacing after driving stocks for 40k won't be looking much in the market for new BG's taken off from showroom cars
Example: they would happily buy 14 & 15 steel rims with 4 lugs, but no one willingly or happily bought Civic 15 steel rims with 5 lugs because they don't fit any other car

Nothing to worry standard fuel available at petrol pumps is ok for ur car. There are three zone in pakistan north south and central attock refinery operates in north which produce 87 ron fuel, pakistan/national oil refinery produce 87 ron and parco which operate in central produce 89 ron fuel.
All companies have defined quota in refineries and they get fuel according to their quota and some companies who have depots store it and dispose it to the areas far from refineries.
Likewise if centre consume more oil then it is supported by south and if north consume more it is supported by center and some times import refined fuel according to their demand. Whoever buys from their companies respectively will have best fuel quality and who buys from suppliers will most probably get low quality of fuel.
In cities mixing is rearly possible because the site wo do that will eventually get closed as nobody will trust that site
This type of mixing and stuff is done on highway or village site which have low sales
City's like isd lhrr karachi where land is sold in inches and a site worth 50 to 100 million will never do that just for one rupee extra profit

Bro i mentioned the same issue here a few days back.... So it would be like if u do wanna change then u'll have to spend alot cos 16s are priceybas compared to 15s and secondly one will loose the exchange benefit... So i guess change will cost alot more. So one will have to settle for BG thing... Lets hope its better.

Ahan! Silver it is then. I thought Modern steel was a new shade that's why I was inclined towards it, but after finding out that it has been offered in the 9th gen, I'd definitely go with the new one, I.e Lunar Silver.

That's exactly what I am hoping. Hope they are better than Euros. Will be better after an year or 2 because normal people not bothered will be purchasing these taken off tyres when they will need replacement.
@ghayyour or anyone else who went to the factory: what tyres did the 2 display cars have. Were they BG or temporarily some imported brand?

Okay this might be a little dumb to say but has anyone noticed the gearbox where there is no L gear unlike other US and European models which have a Low Gear. Usually in my 8th Gen Civic, when for instance I am going up a mountain (Nathia Gali/Monal etc), I have to keep the car in low gear and when coming down I have to do the same to not put so much pressure on the brakes only. Does this have something to do with the CVT transmission where they can't have so many gears on the gearbox for manual use (e.g. 7 gears for Vezel and no idea how many for this civic)

So basically with this, I will have to switch it to Sports mode (S) and then use the paddle shifter to go uphill or downhill. Sucks a little.

Toyota is bigger company than Honda, no wonder if they introduce that in current gen corolla to compete civic, but we should concentrate on civic in this thread.

That's Exactly how triptronics have been working for many many many years in hi-end cars. It works as per the same basic phenomenon, just that steering mounted controls are kind of an advanced and convenient form where you don't have to remove your hands from the steering.
So yes for downhills you will rely on the steering paddle shift.
About the uphill in lower gear, why would you do that? It isn't usually required. As per load the automatic gear box doesn't usually shift into a higher forward gear when going uphill amd your foot is down to attain higher RPM, have always climbed Salt Range in D, never shifted to D3, 2 or 1 when climbing because that's not when I need engine braking.

So yes for downhills you will rely on the steering paddle shift.
About the uphill in lower gear, why would you do that? It isn't usually required. As per load the automatic gear box doesn't usually shift into a lower gear when going uphill. I have always climbed Salt Range in D, never shifted to D3, 2 or 1 when climbing because that's not when I need engine braking.

      Yeah thanks for the reply.

I guess the L gear will be in the Civic variant which doesn't have triptronics. As for going in low gear on mountains, I maintain momentum (going uphill only) easily when in Low gear as the auto has the tendency to shift gears when it thinks it should and I don't want it to to maintain distance from the car ahead of me as not all cars going uphill are the same and usually I have to apply brakes because the car ahead 90% of the time changes to first gear when the climb has reached his front end, this the front car either stalls or slows down a lot breaking my momentum. Anyway, a couple of ways going uphill, and I choose this one

There is 1.6-liter i-DTEC which is diesel engine and with 118HP. I haven't heard of 1.6 gasoline turbo or its arrival. Honda VTEC turbo has 2L, 1.5L and 1L engines as of now. 2L turbo goes in Type R and detuned version will go in upcoming Civic Si sedan.
1.5T went into Civic X sedan and in future will go in other models. 1L turbo will also go in future Honda line up. Civic X will also get a 1L turbo engine
