It will cost around 2.9 million. Add the filer tax and registration. Not 3.3 million.

I was actually refering to this blog from few days ago....
5,000 Honda Civics Booked In Under 10 days - PakWheels Blog

      I still feel its bogus...
5000/22 = 227.27 cars for each dealership in 10 days.(2 days were off)
227/8 = 28 cars per dealership per day...
you cant do it.... may be at major dealerships(6 or 7) but not at all in small cities.

If your source is correct, then why has Atlas increased the pre booking price and release tentative pricing. They should have done something to lure the customers further to achieve their target. Lagta hai aksar logon ki tarah Atlas kay bhi haath paer phool gaye hain

What a disappointment wrt to price. I was thinking of replacing my Axio but excellent pricing from Atlas (/sarcasm) is forcing me to go for Grande now not because I like it over Civic X but simply because Civic X is beyond my reach now.

Why has the enthusiasm on this forum for Civic X turned into so much negativity? Wasn't the 2.8-3 million price range for 1.5T expected? I wasn't really looking forward to the turbo version, but yes I believe the 1.8 is still priced relatively okay, a 150,000 price bump usually occurs in generation change.

Secondly, my personal experience is that grande gets a bit more punch in manual drive as the drone effect of CVT is significantly reduced - this is my personal experience after driving the grande for almost 15000 km now. This we would not be able to experience on 1.8 variant as it lacks paddles. Secondly, the paddle shifters on the grande are a bit too small IMO and you really want to have long fingers for a comfortable grip on the steering while using shifters. I would request the vezel owners in the thread to share their experience with paddles (1.5T should have similar) as I am certainly more comfortable using the gear lever for manual shifts on cvti.
Lastly, and this may sound stupid but I don't have any experience of turbocharged cars, is this turbo always operational even while car is on econ mode or is it like VTEC thingy.
Opinions from experts and vezel owners would be appreciated.
Tbh, Paddle shifters are just shaska and I've never ever used them on my vezel while racing bcz the car changes gear at the best rpms. Secondly, you don't need long fingers. Bcz grande is cvt the paddles are just fake gears developed nothing else. They don't really enhance the fun of drive or the speed.

      3.3 Million ??
      Ali bhai kese ?

      Control Price : 2899000
      WHT ( Non Filers ) 100000
      Registration around 50000
For Karachi additional 14k ( check Honda's website for exact figures for your City )

      On Road Price 3064000/-
      Insurance 90k
0.6% Bank Charges for Non Filers around 18k on 30 lacs

Grand Total 3172000/- with 1 year Insurance

      For 1.8 Oriel Automatic

      2529000 control price
      150000 WHT non filer
      75000 registration expense on 1800cc
      14000 transport
Lets assume they offer navigation for a lesser price this time ( almost impossible but still ) 55000
Leather interior ( say 45k but it will be expensive ) 45k
      85k for insurance
      17k bank charges
      Grand Total 2970000/-

      Difference around 2 lacs hardly
What are we getting in these 2 lacs ?
A much better and latest powerful engine
      Better Fuel Economy
      Paddle shifters
      Remote Engine start
Black Chrome Grill and Door handles
Personally i would love to select hardtop automatic if they launch it next month with these two variants

Or I will have to select Turbo since 2 lacs is not a big amount , we spend this much on extras slowly and gradually , i had plans for bodykit and 18 inch alloys now i will have to keep it simple in stock condition ... but still the drive and overall package is good ..

My rough guess is they will launch hardtop automatic for around 2290/- overall on road price would be around 26 lacs which is really good
I really hope and pray IN SHA ALLAH hardtop bhi launch kerdein sath hy

      Two observations:

      (1) 25+ LAC for 1.8 L, and still no paddle shifters ??

      (2) In USA car has been released with 2.0 L engine, as they deemed 1.8L engine to be under-powered.

Cribbing over every new model is the habit of our public. And then they realise they were wrong.
Couldn't agree more. The outgoing 9th Gen Oriel was around 2398 (base price without add ons) and if the new one is 2529 that means a 131 increase which is not un reasonable to be honest. Considering price bump from 7th to 8th was 275 and 8th to 9th was more than 200. It's just a natural cribbing fever as always and will settle down.
So we basically want Vsa, Push start, keyless entry, 16" rims, dual AC vents, auto speed locking and some more stuff to be thrown at us free of cost.
And @aliusman420 bhai it's not the fault of Honda Atlas cars if someone is not a filer, The increased taxes for non filer are not only applicable on Turbocharged Civic but all cars. It's something that is mandatory from the government.
Now talking about price compared to horsepower, let's take Grande as base:
Grande 132 hp for 2399k means 18.17k per hp
1.8 Civic 141 hp for 2589k (with Nav) Civic means 18.3k per hp
      1.5 Civic 174 hp 2899k means 16.6k per hp.
And features like VSA etc have no value?

      Ali bhai kese ?

      Control Price : 2899000
      WHT ( Non Filers ) 100000
      Registration around 50000
For Karachi additional 14k ( check Honda's website for exact figures for your City )

      On Road Price 3064000/-
      Insurance 90k
0.6% Bank Charges for Non Filers around 18k on 30 lacs

Grand Total 3172000/- with 1 year Insurance

      For 1.8 Oriel Automatic

      2529000 control price
      150000 WHT non filer
      75000 registration expense on 1800cc
      14000 transport
Lets assume they offer navigation for a lesser price this time ( almost impossible but still ) 55000
Leather interior ( say 45k but it will be expensive ) 45k
      85k for insurance
      17k bank charges
      Grand Total 2970000/-

      Difference around 2 lacs hardly
What are we getting in these 2 lacs ?
A much better and latest powerful engine
      Better Fuel Economy
      Paddle shifters
      Remote Engine start
Black Chrome Grill and Door handles
Personally i would love to select hardtop automatic if they launch it next month with these two variants

Or I will have to select Turbo since 2 lacs is not a big amount , we spend this much on extras slowly and gradually , i had plans for bodykit and 18 inch alloys now i will have to keep it simple in stock condition ... but still the drive and overall package is good ..

My rough guess is they will launch hardtop automatic for around 2290/- overall on road price would be around 26 lacs which is really good
I really hope and pray IN SHA ALLAH hardtop bhi launch kerdein sath hy
The exact price difference of Oriel and Hardtop in 9th gen was 230k. So the hardtop 10th Gen should be priced at 2299. And they must offer VSA, Cruise, Retractable mirrors and Climate Control in hardtop.
In hardtop, I can live without Sunroof (obviously it's a hardtop), push start, fog lights, Alloy Rims (to be honest I don't like the new rims trend with black accents) which I would like to put of my own choice.

Yes, No paddle shifters in 1.8
If they had given paddle shifters in 1.8 the turbo exclusivity would have been affected.
So unfortunate those who were thinking of taking a 1.8 Civic to championship tournaments to Monaco and Nurburgring will now have to buy a Corolla to set lap times.
