      Salam,

I Pre-booked a 1.5t using Dr Ahmed AKA InNoCeNt_DeViL's reference on 10th june. Few days before the news about Hi-Octane requirements broke. But now that the word is out and its confirmed, I'm really worried because there is no chance of availability of Hi-Octane or even quality fuel near my Hometown and my father has to travel a lot towards interior Sindh so it is next to impossible for me to run a 1.5t until the fuel issue gets resolved.

As far as the R18 civic is concerned, I guess I can not afford to spend 3m on a vehicle with a decade old engine. So I've decided to let go the civic that I've booked and wait for at least half a year so that the 1.5t, hopefully, proves itself. Can you guys tell me how much monetary damages would I have to face if I sell my car? And if I change my booking to 1.8 would it be easier to sell? If so, with or without Nav+leather? and How can I sell a brand new car? Do I need to contact the dealership for that or I should take delivery and put up an ad on Pakwheels or in the newspaper afterwards?

Honda Atlas has really disappointed me, amongst many, with stupid pricing and a deceiving launch of a non-feasible engine. If it weren't for lack of options, I would've banished the thought of getting a Honda for good.
Bro your anger is genuine but let me properly advice you.
Firstly let goo turbo. Us ki waqai koi zarorat nahi. It's expensive and we have no idea about its maintenance and with in a year it's resale will drop drastically. Lastly 3 million on PKDM is just not worth it.

Second, don't get disappointed about 1.8 variant, I can assure you that with new chassis and cvt transmission, 1.8L will be a totally new experience, with smooth and instant power delivery then 9th gen. It's the best variant out there. In 2.52 million which car offers push start and traction control. I guess none. Plus 1.8L oriel has all the goodies that turbo has minus remote start and paddle shifters which to be honest are useless.

My advice is that go for 1.8L variant eyes closed. You won't regret your decision and if you like turbo variant or Vezel etc you can sell this easily and go for any other car because 1.8 L will have very good resale.

Did not notice before but heard they are giving an inferior meter in this Civic. Can anybody elaborate the differences.

The superior meter is a graphical screen, it does have car menu and iMid display. While the inferior one is a digital screen

The thing I was looking forward to in turbo version civic was the high torque at lower rpms. I'd been so easy and effortless to overtake.

I think there is a third type of screen as well, in the Thailand turbo rs variant. It is similar to the blue screen but in red color, looks even better I think

I'm sure it won't be a simple plug and play. Not to mention the void warranty on a 2.9 mill car

It can be sourced from Thailand aswell...
Two items would be there in our market after a few months
      1. LED headlights
      2. Blue odo meter (may be few and may be expensive but its demand would be there)

I have booked myself 1.5T civic as well and i dont have to worry about high-octane as i have other cars which required high-octane as well but soon we are going to get better fuel from Sept/Oct from major pump.
As for selling there wud be no monetary damages, most dealer sell it to other customers on own and ofcourse you will get your share as well. The 1.8 civic oriel is for 2.5m but adding leather+nav will be close to 2.7m. If you have a lot of running to interior Sindh then i will suggest 1.8 civic as it wont give problem on bad quality fuel.
