True everyone signed the contract but the point that just seems to be lost on you and many others who are so quick to jump to the conclusion of blaming the customer, is that the contact was signed with the implied understanding that apart from price nothing else would be revealed in the coming days that would have a significant effect on the product, enough to make the buyer change his decision (which happened and the buyer was locked into the contract)

Had Atlas given the option to refund the booking amount then there would not have been a strong case but here Atlas is forcing you now to switch over to the 1.8L...do you understand the difference... THEY ARE FORCING YOU TO BUY 1.8L but lured you through the 1.5L option.

Lastly a toothpaste is worth what Rs. 50-100 and a car is worth what 2.5 million.... hahahaha your comparison is hilarious. You have to compare like things together otherwise going by your naive comparison buying an aeroplane and a car are also the same thing ? lol
The importer reserves the right to alter the design, specifications, color, price and delivery schedules, without prior notice to you.
So Bro all Atlas did was change the SPECIFICATION. They just practiced their right, and changed something which they mentioned and got duly signed that they have right to do so as per contract. This one word is enough for them to keep them safe from any claims. And there, whatever claims a buyer will have are gonna go down the drain

Oh and about the toothpaste, you don't sign a contract and book one.
The example was just to tell you difference between signing a CONTRACT and getting a ready made item. Thanks for the hilarious interpretation.

Abb itnay bui burray halaat nahi. They only used R18 because it's the same even in Thailand.
Secondly the suspension won't be compatible with a different chassis, different wheelbase, different tread and different weight of the car.

Let me ask one question; What if the AHCPL had not highlighted the 91 octane requirement.......

In my opinion, there is no case at all.

As far as I know the "Consumer Courts" deal with the defective product & services.

R18 sai mujhay koi masla nahi.
They used substandard suspension in 9th gen as opposed to International models and yehi na hoo jaye 10th gen k saath bhi.

Don't sell it yet. With the increased price I doubt it will depreciate much if you wait for a few months to get review of 1.8 before you decide to buy one. Keep it for now

Called the showroom just now and asked them to pay attendance to this thread and our fuel related concerns.

He clearly read out the notification sent by Atlas Honda and insisted that there was only a mention of "recommended fuel", no mention of it being "mandatory".

He further stated that their would be no logic in releasing a model for which fuel would not be available.

The status as of now is 3-4 months wait for the 1.5T.

I received my booking number as well.

Am I wiser now than before the call? Not quite sure, apart from the recommended/mandatory difference, whatever it means.

Yes Bhai doing the same. Grande is an option but civic ka wait kerne mai kiya harj hai. I want to thoroughly review it. Infact on launch day proper photoshoot kerna hai Civic X ka.

R18 will be a breeze paired with cvt. I guess in city it will easily do 12-13 km/l

Between law is not that I have laid down my terms and condition and you signed it so we must obey it, rule of law is based on justice, if conditions are too hard then it can be challenged in court. It is your money that you put in for booking, you have every right to cancel the order, there can be some amount but they cannot keep all the amount with them, this will be too harsh specially before disclosing the fact which is most significant i.e. fuel type.

When did you book your car bhai, I booked on 10th but booking number still not received by dealership, they say we have received it for 6th, 7th and 8th only.
