I am now thinking I made a mistake giving away my 9th Gen on the 16 rims it had. Totally forgot. They would have looked good maybe on 10th Gen.

Is it just me, or Civic X seats actually look a bit wierd?

The front seats do have a wierd shape overall from the top area amd headrests specially. The design makes them look smaller visually

Middle hump has both pros and cons in the rear seat. Cons, it's uncomfortable for the middle passenger. Pros, it makes the side passengers more sunk feeling and bucket like

Let me share a practical visual experience. I have never seen 5 people here in any car no matter a Civic, Corolla, Accord, Camry and you name it.. Mostly single or two.. or two kids max in car seats in back. If you have to frequently haul 4 or 5.. you buy mini van or suv here

This middle passenger comes only in play mostly in Pakistan

Rear hump is acceptable and understandable in only rear wheel drive cars now!

This middle passenger comes only in play mostly in Pakistan
Absolutely true. In most family setups who are Civic customers, though the mini van part doesn't apply in Lahore for Civic owners. But the middle seat is barely used. Atleast in my family it isn't used. Very rarely. So the hump in the middle is a preference in my eyes instead of flatness. Atleast the more usage on rear 2 passenger seats would be comfortable compared to providing it for the barely possible third one.

It's there in Civic X for lower ride height. Previously the ride height was more. But rear exhausts have to cross the undercarriage and need space. Eliminating the hump would have made them hanging under the floor resulting in pipes getting damaged with every bump or speed breaker.
That's the logic I think has been applied. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
That's the part for floor hump, about the seat hump. It makes passenger side more bucketish and there might be something underneath that area too, like I guess the fuel tank, filter and its connectivity was underneath the middle seat on an 8th Gen.

statistically.. there are 5 mini vans available to buy from different companies and account for 550000 unit sales per year on average in US. Alas! most of real mini vans are high displacement engines and their introduction in local market will be too expensive.. Just imagine Honda Odyssey which is as comfortable and fun to drive like an Accord but can carry 7 adults and 5 t suit cases..
