Silver will become too common. Again personal preference.

I will go for darker shade except black.. maintenance of exterior is challenge in dark shades but to be honest .. dark shades show car exterior characteristics much better.

I always tell people check out the car in shade and sun and make a decision as color will be one thing always remain till the end of the life of car and once selected can't be changed unlike tires, rims..

A car looking good in pictures might not look good in actual..

Honda should put a nice engine cover top like this to hide all this clutter. It is not an expensive part or difficult to manufacture. Engine bay looks neat and tidy with top cover.

      Example:

Also in Pakistan there is lower grade than 91 available which is 87.. such a sentence create confusion especially when everywhere where Civic X is for sale 91 is the minimum available.

      The confusion will remain..

Well that "ONLY" in the letter can just be mistake or negligence of the person who typed and proof-read that letter or failure to use proper English without thinking much? You are reading too much from the letter, which is good as the letter was an important piece of info coming directly from Atlas, but one thing you can note is the quality of that letter was already very substandard.

This can be seen from the fact that they mentioned Budget 2016-17 as Budget 2015-16 in that letter. It's an evidence that proof reading from a responsible professional was missing from that letter. Another one is that in point (b) they mentioned price of 'BOTH' models which were named as VTIPTSR and Turbo 1.5 L. But in point (e) they said Go for 'Oriel' instead of Turbo...It should have either been VTIPTSR in both points or Oriel. That's a referencing error.

The thing is: I already have a Granite Verde Metallic and a Gun metallic. So that removes the darker grays, Urban and Modern steel out of option. Either all cars at home should be same color or all should be different. Black is a big NO for me. Not at all a fan of pastel shades like Cosmic blue, Rallye Red when it comes to cars.
Out of the remaining ones, White and Silver. I had 9th Gen in white so want a change. Secondly planning to get another JDM in pearl white Insha-Allah in a few months. One like @Nabeel_Ali bought. So both new ones won't be white. Do have an Alabastar Silver atm but might not be staying. Or maybe it does but doesn't matter. It's a different Silver.

      Dear friends

I want to know what delivery timelines dealership are giving for 1.8L. Today I checked with one dealership in Islamabad/Rawalpindi. They gave me 3-4 months delivery time for 1.8L.

Official launch date he mention is 15-16 July and said 1.5L will launched later.

I want to book 1.8 as 1.5 is way above my budget 😬

And you yourself having both cars in different colors are suggesting me to have another 3rd one in resembling scheme...
A Granite Verde, Gun Metallic and next a Civic X in Urban or Modern Steel (same shade family) and the odd one out Pearl White (few months later) along with another odd Alabastar Silver.

Valid point and agree to the quality of letter. Just for sake of my own understanding, let me ask a question..

      For 1.5T

      USDM Civic minimum R+M/2= 87 [RON 91]
Saudi Arabia; Turbo RS = 95

Australia, Phillipines, Indonesia, Thailand.. minimum grade at pump is 91 , Which is same as required on USDM, so no confusion.

      China, 92 required

Don't you think Honda Atlas will risk and take a huge liability by telling consumer that 91 is recommended but 87 can be used ? Despite the facts we all know how much inferior even this 87 we have. Because every country where Civic is launched the minimum grade is OK to use except Pakistan where we are still pumping 87..

I maybe 100% wrong and the article I published maybe totally useless and not based on facts.. but if you just take this one argument .. what you think What Atlas will do ? Or what you think as turbo Civic owner.. after spending 3 million on the car..

Also let's say PKDM is detuned for lower grade fuel.. means it will run on 87 but there will loss of HP and expect it 20 to 30 hp .how than 1.5T will stand along with 1.8? [This will be a very rare possibility]

One more thing if we say it will run on regular but loss of performance and I don't know what loss that will be expect it in double digits easily.. why to spend 300K extra on something which will not be running on its potential because of low grade fuel and you keep more wear tear in your bag and risk engine related issues..

      Thx

The loss is in taxes and resale of the 1.8!

I doubt a sucked up Turbo owing to octane issues would cause a greater loss!

Hence.....it's either "to be, or not to be"........a Turbo owner!

Of other things discussed till now:

      1) Lunar silver seems ready to be flooding our streets.

      2) Inshallah.....there'll be engine cover plate and insulation. Would be a curse, if not.

      3) CRZ rims.....my choice.

      4) The hump IS a downside!

      5) Wiper movement/direction is no issue......although we were expecting from "top down" this time!

Rain sensor is a crap feature anyway. I have it on my 2013 Altis SR and i would gladly replace it with "intermittent" if possible.

Sometimes it doesn't wipe when you want it to. other times it will wipe continuously for a little drizzle and so on and so forth.

You can say half a gimmick. it does work but not as well as you would want it to. i believe the "sensor" is not as sensitive as it should be.
