And yet Atlas is using the word "tentative" hopefully they wont increase further
I think ex-factory is 2529 and 2899 for. Price for each city further varies as per carriage charges.

To allay our fears about 1.5 Turbo Civic X can any expert from Pakwheels kindly comment on the following info learnt from the Internet:-
      1. Octane number requirement is for the compression ratio and design of cylinders only

      2. Compression ratio for the turbo 1.5 ltr engine is slightly less than that of the new 2.0 ltr engine in the US market

      3. Turbo engines of 1980s and 90s had failed but this time round many automakers have come up with robust designs.

      4. Atlas is showing concern for poor fuel quality in Pakistan and to be on the safe side is recommending Hi octane.

      5. As exhaust is fed to turbine of the turbo charger; in case poor fuel is used it may get clogged.

      6. Any potential concerns with turbo engines can be overcome by
      A. Using fuel with better cleaning
      additives to avoid ash/carbon
      deposits
      B. More frequent than normal
replacing of fuel, air& oil filters
      and the engine oil itself.

True that however if you see it in a boarder aspect what he has written if this would have not happened specially where the features have been stripped yet price remains the same or lower tax benefit of smaller engine not passed on to end consumer, product not being shown yet taking booking with non refundable amounts, who do you think would have benefit from all of this??
Right people who are actually buying this car which i suppose includes you my friend as well. This argument of if you dont like it dont buy it or nobody is forcing you to buy does not, should not arise because there is no body who would not want a civic, the problem is that certain segment of the society who is not as blessed as some of our other brothers are and just wants a fair deal. There is nothing wrong in that. In fact every where in the world things are priced so that everybody can afford them, special deals are given, only in Pakistan its the exact opposite which creates a sense of frustration and more so when the blessed segment of the society actually encourages it.

I know this all ... everybody has the right to express what they feel like. But saying something again and again and again and again and again just doesn't make sense. Some people specifically come here to discourage others. These specific kind of people have no valid arguments and just spread hate with out any proper justification. So I had to say this " no one is forcing you to buy it "

That will be a real treat. C'mon Atlas do what Nabeel says. He is giving you a brilliant idea to make up the lost satisfaction of customers and a good gesture from you to compensate the complaints.

Yes this debate should now come to rest but i will say it again consumers have a say everywhere in the world and those of us who can afford should not settle for less after all they are too paying it from their hard earned money.

The prices gap seems huge between the two versions. Actually prices sound like this: 2691000 for the 1.8L and 29110000 for the 1.5T. This is when you brings both cars at par wrt leather/Navigation.

The on road prices difference will be even lesser. Probably max 150K!

And ultimately.....there'll still be features missing like remote start, paddle shifters, larger Audio screen, and course the HP's and ZOOM!

The on road prices difference will be even lesser. Probably max 150K!

And ultimately.....there'll still be features missing like remote start, paddle shifters, larger Audio screen, and course the HP's and ZOOM!
The navigation unit (audio screen) being provided optional on the 1.8 is same as the unit provided as standard on 1.5
The rear screen on 1.5 is an optional one. Probably that optional option of rear screen is not offered even as an option on 1.8

I'd like to do that honestly to enjoy the drive on motorway. However, dealerships generally prove to be a PITA when it comes to delivering on time so an out of city dealership is out of question without any jaan pehchaan
