The Thai uses same Full Digital Cluster driver interface as USDM.. the only diffrence is color which is red.. Using Honda diagnostic system software.. you can make changes..as far as I know and that's what Thailand RS has..

Same software tool or something like this tool will be needed.. for LED swap.. this linked below is for older versions of Honda / Acura . Again this is I think.. But well we are not getting a full TFT so no worries about this..

Ok, Called the US Honda parts department and they told me that each LED headlight is around $670. This does not include the specific screws which are an additional $15 for each headlight..

Did some research and found Some online parts store have the LED available on discount for $440 each for a short period of time. I asked for the harness.. well they could not locate a specific dedicated harness from electrical module to the headlights.. Everything is part of the main engine harness.. I mean there are two three harnesses and headlights wires comes from them.

Tomorrow I will be calling the service department and will ask about the LED swap/ if any software communication between module and LED need any change or its plug and play...

Because I am told by parts department that in US there is rain sensor and when rain sensor activities headlights comes on automatically as well as in dark and there is some connection between the main relay unit and the LED headlights with some sensors.. The connector are completely different so stock projector harness will not connect with LED headlight. some DIY cutting splicing will be needed as well for LED to work.

LED CONNECTORS. [look at 13 and 14. Only two as LED dim and high are controlled via same connectors]

HALOGEN CONNECTORS. [look 16, 17 ,25 & 26.. 4 because there is separate connector for high and dim]

Don't have time to search right now...but you should look at civic X forum. I remember coming across a thread from a US forum member, who swapped his headlights for LED ones and did NOT require a new harness. He also posted details of the swap as well and it seemed pretty straightforward. Still you're gonna have to spend around $1000 extra for something that should be standard on the 1.5T.

I have already read about it a while back.. cutting and splicing needed. I just posted genuine honda part list for both projector and LED , above please see it.. the connectors are not plug and play.... a projector plug will not go in LED headlight. You definitely need to cut and re pin the wires.. I don't know if I will be ready to do that with a brand new car..
After market connectors will definitely come to connect stock projectors to LED.. but for now the only option is splicing.. LED headlight have one connector while each projector get two, low and high , so those pins need to go somewhere in LED as well.

If you can somehow figure out the connector types, then you can just order the connectors from ebay, mouser etc and make an adapter cable yourself.

I know that..but first you have to figure out what wire goes where from module to headlights as I said the US swap you read has rain and dawn / dusk sensor input as well.. while on PKDM.. we are missing both automatic headlights as well as rain sensor.

In US there is a law.. when wiper on.. headlight on.. so rain sensors make headlight ON as well. I am sure people will get it done.. but it will be a costly swap.. as its not Plug and play.

rain sensor etc have nothing to do with the headlight connecter. All you have to do is look at the guy's wiring schematic and create an adapter cable based off of that.

Well.. point is you need to cut open the projector pin.. I said.. it's not plug n play. Here you go. YOU can see you need to run some wires from module to LED.. which are not used in case of projector.. I never said it's not possible..

BTW if the fuel lid on Civic X open with just a slight push doesn't it make it vulnerable to fuel theft? especially in this cap filling system
