And honestly I do get what he is saying. @Nabeel_Ali living around the same vicinity as me you have surely witnessed the accidents on Phase 5, Phase 6 boulevards and main DHA during the nights. Not everyone who will buy these will have sense. And we don't have the sense as a nation to be mature enough to handle speed. We don't have sense and maturity to take care of road conditions. The point is absolutely valid. Wonder what kids will do when they sneak out with their dad's turbo at night doing 0-100 in around 7 seconds.

100% agreed Ali bhai that phase 6 main boulevard road is death valley. I have witnessed deadliest accidents when going to LSE in my bachelor's. And will even more when my mba starts. The moment that road or phase 5 road starts people even on their 660cc rides think that they are vin diesel and start accelerating like maniacs. And all of these are lse brats Jin ko new new cars milli hoti hain. Indeed Turbo civic will be suicidal ... these rich brats will buy them and bang them here and there.
And tub hi awaam baaz aye gi. So turbo is shoru ka craze. It will eventually die down.
Oriel and hardtop will sell hot cakes.

According to my assessment...hardtop will exclude alloy rims, fog lamps, sunroof, VSA and pushstart.

It will have retractable mirrors, climate control, auto locks, dual air bags and cruise control.

If priced between 2249 and 2299...seriously then it's a very good deal.

Thanks for sharing the info from a first hand driver of Civic x. Indeed he is right to conclude its far better than 9th gen donkey. Indeed a bad looking car and a big flop. I'm happy Honda redeemed themselves with civic X. Just wish they had introduced 2.0L engine for our market too.

Instead of Turbo there should have rather been a 2.0 L Oriel Only as a superior trim for the time being.
A gradual shift and more common access to power but more importantly the "Hi-Octane & Turbo" thing would have been at rest and results would have favored Atlas till a few years when Turbo would have been more feasible for Pakistan after experimenting with it locally.

Again..2L is North America and middle east specific and didn't come to Asian markets at all. So it's arrival in our local market is not possible/ could not be possible in future. Also anything above 1800CC changes as far as car registration , tax bracket.. 2L is on base models and in Pakistan with current tax scenario it could have pushed the price higher than a turbo..

While I have read that 1.8 is in its last use and on Civic X.. This engine will be discontinued by Honda. The next generation HRV in US will ditch a 1.8 which is same as on ASian Civic X.

No one said its the car's fault. And no one said others should suffer. Just discussing a reality

I study at LUMS and have witnessed those riced up rides that people bring to show off at hotspot every weekend. I fear there's going to be a massive increase in accidents, specially those involving 1.5 Civics. I really hope my father doesn't allow me to bring the car along to Lahore as it becomes really hard to control your nerve when you have such a responsive throttle under your foot.
